What are some of everyone's favorite indie groups or artists? I know not everyone here blasts The Trooper 24/7, so let's give eachother something to listen to. :]
I saw a band called Okkervil River a while ago, and it was amazing. Ever since, I've been obsessed with them and their songwriter. His songs can be beautiful, empathetic, or harsh as fuck, but they're always amazing. He's a master at alliteration.

A lot of their songs tie in with eachother. The faster stuff, is amazing to two step to. I don't know if anybody here dances. lmao
mewithoutYou's good too, so is the Format. I generally listen to lighter, if not acoustic, like Iron and Wine, or Smog, but I like some hardcore and stuff too.
