Info on Meet the Spartans?

I saw Epic Movie... Absolutely hated that POS... I saw The Comebacks, I didnt hate it, but it wasnt like "OMG hilarious!" Maybe a 6 or 7/10.

Compared to The Comebacks, would this be better or worse? Or even compared to Epic Movie?

Idk, I want to see it, but Im wondering if it would be worth the money.

Yeah Im reading IMDB, it got REALLY low scores, (but so did the comebacks.) I can only really use IMDB as a general guide. Its easier to get info by asking it. IMDB is usually either highly pro or highly con. There arent many in-betweeners

Ugh, these films. All they do is toss some lame ass slap-stick humor into the (debatable) creativity of others and rake in profit.

I also hate those who enjoy watching them. It's like, "Oh my God! I've totally seen that in another movie! Ahahaha." Read a fucking book.

I haven't watched the Scary Movie series beyond part of the first, and I haven't seen any of the other spoofs by this movie group. So I was able to enjoy Meet the Spartans, since the gags weren't a dead horse for me. However, if in reality it's the same old crap they've apparently been doing for years, I can see why most reviews hate it. I guess I was lucky I've been living under a rock. I used to like the Hercules TV series, and Kevin Sorbo had one line that got a laugh out of me. It wasn't the funniest movie I've ever seen. That honor still falls to Mel Brooks and Leslie Nielson (every movie those two ever made/acted in). I have to admit I was laughing for most of the movie though. Maybe if I backtrack I'll think the same of Scary Movie that you all thought of this?

Ive only seen scary movie 1 also, and it was okay. Not horrible, not hilarious, but it was okay. I wasnt "disappointed" with it. Then I saw Not Another Teen Movie. It was also Okay, but a little less than SM1... Then after a long while I saw Epic Movie... So fuckin terrible.. Then after another long while, I saw The Comebacks, which was okay. I had a few laughs.

All in all, I think Ill stay away like others have said. The internet's spoofs on 300 are good enough for me

It is a lot similar to the Scary Movie bits, but in a overly try hard way. Their jokes are not funny because they are trying too hard to make it funny.

Seriously don't go, I feel awful spending $12.50 for an absolutely awful movie, that was only a little longer then 60 minutes.

I had high expectations for this and I wanted to get a refund it was that bad.

yeah I was listening to the radio, I heard about that. I was honestly thinking all the people were at the theater for RAMBO ffs. Shit, was I ever wrong, lol. I took a peak inside both of rooms, Meet the Spartans was full. I dont think I saw an empty seat.

Rambo had a lot of empty seats, although it was still decently filled. Blew my mind.

Speaking of which, anyone know how Rambo was?
