Information Request: Tenzen

It's been a long time since I did CoP, and I need some information on Tenzen.

If anyone has a link to the entire story of CoP that's been compiled please link it for me. In the meantime, I need to know the reason Tenzen Used the Phoenix Great Katana the first time. It was explained in the story at some point that he killed an entire town/citystate in order to revive the blade. But I cannot remember why. It was during the time of the great war iirc.

he killed people with the blade because by giving it power he could hold back the emptiness longer or something like that. basically the people were gonna die anyway so by sacrificing themselves they helped save others.

Right, that is the plan, but they hadn't experienced the emptyness in the past had they? Only now. He came to this neck of the woods looking for answers as to why the emptyness was affecting his area. He brought Phoenix with him, at some point he explains that the sword was used once before to do something that required the deaths of hundreds, if not thousands of people to revitalize the sword, way before CoP.

but i know they are in war with near east at the time of CoP events

I paid attention to the cutscenes. I also saw those particular cutscenes nearly three years ago.

If memory serves (and it might not, but it's a workable place to start), he goes on his explanatory spiel in the cutscene where you zone into 60-cap Pso'Xja, so try the Pso'Xja Goblin Footprint. (Which I think - may be wrong - is in the 50-cap tower.)
