Sorry Mattaru, but that really wasn't a smart move. I do hope something happens to that rotten seed, but from what I've heard about GMs, they have their hands tied behind their backs.
I got screwed over too, but at least I saw that coming. Some guy on my LS was constantly begging for help left and right. He even started begging for Gil at some point. He might have been kidding, but he never said it was so, so I concluded he did want the monetary help.
Anyways, he goes on a sob story about how he was stuck in Norg, no Gil, no way to get out, as he set his HP there for his Ninjustu quests... I didn't care much about him anymore, I told him a few times in the past to do some research for himself, but he always replied by saying how lazy he was. So, just to make him STFU, I lent him a stack of 10 Silent Oils.
The next day, he left the LS. I told everyone else about his conduct, and how I treated him. My coarse remarks about his uselessness probably was what drove him away, especially after I highly criticized him for not being able to plan ahead for anything when he was stuck in Norg. I feel I did my LS a favor by trying to knock some sense into him. I tried getting those Silent Oils back twice, but he replied both times with "I'll give them right back once I'm in town", which never happened.
I knew I might never see those Silent Oils ever again when I lent them to him. And quite frankly, I don't really care. More bullets when it came to telling my LS about that player's inability to find his way around in this game on his own.
