Install help

evening all, having problems with installing playonline to my pc the os is vista.
using the disc to install with no problems but when i try to run playonline viewer it comes up with playonline has stopped working. i will check back in on this thread in about 10-20 mins i am sure there are others that use vista that can be of help.
 
I've heard that there have been a lot of issues with playing FFXI on vista from a few friends, but i've also heard that there are a few fixes that you can download. Hopefully someone here will have the links.

You have to download the Vista version of POL from POL
 
I did not think that i would have to post in this thread again but new problems has arrived which i think i know the answer too not sure though, ffxi config has anybody had the problem with it stopped working?

tried running it as admin same response and i am thinking its because i have not updated the actuall ffxi within playonline. not really good with computers so help would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance to whomever chooses to help.
