Installation problems - please help

hey, ive just got a new laptop for christmas and ive reinstalled ffxi. for some reason playonline wont open, it keeps on saying "Error code = 20008003 Playonline viewer cannot run under current operating system"

i was wondering if anyone else had this problem and knows how to fix it because i want to play ffxi again

But seeing the flag of England you might have the FFXI EU version.

Download this, uninstall ffxi, install this POL version from one of the links above depending on your FFXI region then install ffxi again.
After that you should be good to go.
