Instanced areas exploit....WTF.

I've never done it myself but appearently:

All 6 go into the BC, however one must stay within the CS and never come out.

4 of the members logout immediately.

the 5th person pulls the Mammets to the person still in the BC and dies.

The Mammets agro the person within the CS and because of that, he takes ZERO damage. The others log back in and the one who died gets back up.

Wait for weakness to wear and pull the Mammets off the dude in the CS one by one.

The Player in the CS will then come out of the CS at the last fight and they all win.

Errr, that is completely unrelated to the extent of this glitch being mentioned here.

SE banned for the crystal synthesis glitch way back when, I seriously doubt "80% of people knowing about it" is gonna stop them here if they feel like it.

They also banned people who exploited the CoP 2-5 glitch as well. They didnt do it to everyone who did this though, however, I'm sure some of them will be banned to prove a point to not do it again.

Care to explain that glitch please? I haven't heard about that one.

Well that glitch is not as harmfull as this one. The Mammet fight is easy reagardless, we trioed it for mdk's mule the other day.

People do all they can do minimize the repercussions of the glitch. This is not only limited to salvage gear or nyzul gear, but also to big money item that the sandworm can drop and to alexandrite. I think it's safe to assume that some LS used this trick to build money off sellable junk (ancient torque, black tathlum etc) to be able to finance their salvage body, or even dupe alexandrites in order to get the 30k alexandrite faster for their Mythic.

I don't think it works on chests. From what it sounds like it was mobs only.

People were saying that they'd get 3x the cell amounts at the start so yeah, it worked for chests in salvage at least. Sometimes I wonder what the hell SE's programmers are doing.

I don't like that there was a glitch to begin with. It's the same issue I had with people botting summoning magic, while I sat at my computer and skilled it up. Don't like the grind of FFXI? Quit and go do WoW.

i dont condone using unfair advantages AGAINST other players, but if there was a glitch i could take advantage of, i would. depending on the glitch i suppose. this one was fin i think... it's not like they couldnt defeat the monster to get the drop, they just have to do it less amount of times. now something like glitching AV in the past with the wall, that takes away of the purpose of the fight. glitch it to what? get better gear? to then what? fight a stronger monster? wasnt one.

im in the middle when i comes to dual-boxing. i do it to farm multiple areas or get ToD while i do my regular stuff.

One major problem was the Sandworm was also glitched, so in addition to getting multiple r/ex pieces they were also getting multiple Ancient Torques etc. One person admitted to using the glitch to get over 25 mil off of it. That's a problem in SE's eyes.
