The best i can tell it has been confirmed by the AP that this document is legitimate and with that in mind i guess that i have officially been labeled as an anti government extremist because i supported and continue to support Ron Paul along with consider myself to be a libertarian. Also according to some other articles associated with this report there is some belief that the guidelines in this report has been used to start a database of possible extremists that the government needs to watch for...

Interesting read. i do believe the cause of all the milita groups would be and are the fault of the government. Its going to happen, the united states people as a whole will never ever be content with a political system due to free will and world influences. we succeded from britan, split political veiws by what, the 3rd president?

These extremist are no differant then terrorist in the middle-east. Thier government dose not support them but a partion of the population do. It's human nature to revolt against your oppressor. the most carnal example would be a mother and child. The wiser, yet not fool-proof mother, inacts rules upon her child and the kid throws a tantrum. *shrugs*

I do see more cival upheaving in the near furture, but nothing as extreme as some split in the US. Im sure some day, probably after im dead, but not by halloween :crazy:

seems kinda wierd but at the same time the guy in the article sounds pretty alarmist, i highly doubt hes gonna get pulled over because he has a Ron Paul sticker, or that a cop is going to approach his car with his gun drawn just cause of a Ron Paul sticker.

If anything the cops prob gonna see the Ron Paul sticker and just roll his eyes and hope that he didnt just pull over one of the loud mouthed crazy Ron Paul fans. not saying anything against you dejavu or any of the other ron paul fans here, but i know quite a few Ron Paul fans irl and a good bit of em are nuts.

Anyone with knowledge of the 60's shouldn't really be surprised by this...hell one of my Professors survived an assassination attempt by the CIA (they did shoot him lol).

only reason i said this is because if this story had come out 6 months ago people would be jumping all over it pointing at it as proof of how fascist the bush administration is and about how now your gonna get sent to gitmo for being a Ron Paul fan or owning certain books.

i know, i was just saying it wouldn't surprise me to have seen comments like this had this story come out 6 months ago, some people already loved to believe that the bush administration was out rounding up people and sending them to terrorist camps for fitting terrorist profiles. this would have just backed up their belief.

overall i cant say this worries me, saying someone supporting a third party candidate is a warning sign to them being a domestic terrorist, is like saying someone owning a gun is a warning sign to them going on a shooting rampage. its just silly.
the "database of possible extremist" on the other hand, not so cool, but i didnt read anything in the story supporting this so im not gonna freak out over rumor

We've seen plenty of stuff like this pop up before. It's no fun but it is a sign of the times. People need to wise up and take back control of their government before it's too late. But I don't have much hope for that. It looks like the "bread and circuses" card is just being played again. The hope I have for this country is just enough to keep me going and trying to preach the freedom message. Maybe I'll run for congress one day. Keep an eye out for that.
