so i saw this picture a few days ago, and just passed it off as some pictures of the big tidal wave thing from space.

then, i saw it a few minutes ago, and it suddenly hit me. can you see what it is? it's actually the island in the middle that caught my eye (Qufim), and then the laced together land that makes Jeuno. it's like looking at the map from upside down.

it was taken from .dat file, as the first screen shows. anyone heard or seen this before? whether it's real or not, i don't know, but it still looks cool, i think haha

edit: i found it at http://ff11-photo.dynsite.net/joyfulyy/joyfulyy.cgi where the part where it begins is more than halfway down page one currently. if someone can translate, maybe it would help. babelfish just gave me stuff like the word fish over and over :P

Babelfish gave me this buncha crap:

Looks to me like it's a view of Vana'diel from space, probably to be used in a cutscene, [Sky] 2, or both.

it's also good to note that they were talking about the 'new' sky( http://qcdn.org/viewtopic.php?t=5679 ) until these pictures were posted, but i couldn't find any sort of transition or reference when these were added. if it is part of a cutscene or something, it would be a pretty radical move from what we're use to seeing (though, i must admit i've only seen a small amount of the CoP mission cutscenes).
 
That picture rocks, just wish they had a picture like that of the whole world map, instead of just right over Jeuno ^^

WHen I was trying to translate that. I also translated a bit of "Sky" 2 thing. It said something about it "actually being in the sky." Mebbe this has something to do with that :shock:
