The fee collected when placing items on auction will be determined by the current auction price, not the store/guild selling price.
This will be extremely interesting if it does what I'm expecting. Given all items in game sold for extremely little when sold to npc's, the base fee to put things on the AH was never very high. Start basing it on a percentage of what the item is being sold for and things should prove interesting. 20k gil fee to throw up your vermillion cloak for 2mill might motivate people to not keep raising the prices. This might be an attempt in disguese of SE combating the rampid inflation that is occuring on high price items and encourage more competitive pricing.

I think it will go BEYOND discourage price-jacking. Imagine the undercutting and price dropping! Think about it. You just paid 20k to put an item up, do you really want in comming back to your MH?

That is such a good point. I am hoping to come back from my awayness and find hauby much lower than what it is now O.O

"Ajusted" eh... is it me? or I always felt something "NEGATIVE" will go when they use this term -.-
That's the magical word I always used when nerfing things on a NWN pvp server I worked for. 8)

I personally hope to sweet lord that the stackable food is Juice. Jesus that drives me bonkers :x

Damn it Sabia, you beat me to that comment. Yes, I hope to any God that it is juice they're finally going to let us stack. I guess it isn't practical since you could picture 12 bottles of coke jammed in yiour pants all of sudden fitting into one pocket, but still...like i care if it's realistic..I'm a 3 ft child like humanoid that's afraid of being punted.

Off topic, but this reminded me of the Qudav Backplate contradiction. They are much too heavy for people to wear, yet I can carry 35 of them in my pack if I want.

Auction Restrictions on Certain Items (Dec. 6 - Dec. 9)

The Dec. 9 version update will raise several items' stack number from 12 to 99.

To prepare for this change, the auction of these items will be restricted, starting from Dec. 6, at 1:00 (PST) until Dec. 9 (the duration of the maintenance period). Players will still be able to bid on items already up for auction. Players will also be able to remove these items from auction if they desire.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Affected Items:
-Ginger Cookie
-Coin Cookie
-Wild Cookie
-Acorn Cookie
-Spicy Cracker
-Red Hot Cracker
-Garlic Cracker
-Garlic Cracker +1
-Goblin Chocolate
-Hobgoblin Chocolate
-Bretzel
-Cinna-cookie
-Wizard Cookie

* All other items will be unaffected.

*Details regarding maintenance will be released in a separate news bulletin.

Gosh... I really wonder what they're up to with those. Make them stackable to 99, or make them unstackable? Even worse, make them Ex foods? Now that'd be the day! Gosh... I wish I would understand what they plan with those items, as I've recently discovered goblin chocolate and grown to like it...

Play Nice, Don't Monopolize!
Millions of people, like you, enjoy playing online games. Everyone plays the games to have a good time. Friendliness, courtesy, and respect for others are as important in the online world as they are in real life. We encourage all players to be good citizens of the gaming community. Exploits, hacks, and monopolizing camp spots so other people can’t acquire good items are destructive to the whole game experience for everyone. Game economies are not helped by making it difficult for other players to play and enjoy the game. Any activity that makes playing the games less fun hurts us all. We encourage you to use common sense, common courtesy, and enjoy the marvelous adventures in the games. Help everyone have fun and all else follows.

Seems IGE has taken notice of the new update. As well FuryRush and GreenRose have not been online the last two times I've signed in.

That comment has been up on ige's website for nearly a couple months. It isn't related to the update.

I assmue those items listed are being changed to stacks of 99 as mentioned. What in the world is making them want to create stacks of 99 hobgolin chocalate? A stack of 12 is already like 20k. Who would dare to buy a stack of 100 for 200k+? :x Buying those individual with the ah fees would make that a bad choice as well.

I hope the new THF trait will give us something over DRK/THFs *cough* since 60+ they tend to take over our job.
Something like, your PT get 999999XP just for having a THF on board.....oooo yea. =P
/keeps dreaming.

I hope not...as I am just about to hit 60. Sry thfs ; ;

Ok Tyrath, I've known ya since that 30 cap Ballist you got whomed in :P, and I hate to break the news to everyone, there is no way in hell a (Pld, Nin, or life-loving Whm) will ever take a Drk-Sam-War/Thf over a Well equiped, smart Thf/War-Nin-Rng. If they did, they are a twit and would ask them to come watch a test of the two paired off. But thats a whole nother topic :P

But on the new Thf trait, I could only hope that it would be TH3 (in our dreams Thfs), but would infact like to see a "Haste or Quad Attack" type of trait, seeing as though later on, it seems the only way that I can keep up with TP on a Rng or Sam in a PT, is with Haste, and I personally HATE asking a Whm for Haste, I see it as a pain for them and could mean life or death for a tank when they need to tie up casting time just to haste me so that I can SC for uber Dmg, just to kill a Creature so that we can pull again. ::Whew:: lots of words, but I think I get across the point that this seems to be the major battle downfall that thfs have. (Even as my all powerful Thf/War, double and triple attack traits still arn't fast enough for me to be happy :) )

There's your new trait, gil finder 2.

# The duration and effect of certain foods will be adjusted.

"Ajusted" eh... is it me? or I always felt something "NEGATIVE" will go when they use this term -.-

If they are making previously unstakable foods (like big pies) stackable, one should expect that they would lower the time to 30 min for NQ and to 1 hr for HQ. (currently they are 1hr for NQ and 90min for HQ)

So, i do think that it will be a "negative" change, but i also think it will be reasonable.

Gil Finder II... great... just what i need :( what about brining back the tasa that worked as long as you were not in front of it :(, or shortening hide to 3minute recast so it is actually useful in exp pts '-';;

/hates that every /thf job is > thf main ; ;.

If past updates to the thf job have showed anything, this new trait is going to be a double edged sword.

In the eyes of SE, there isn't anything wrong with the thf job considering it has A+ rating in parry and evasion and the second highest marksmanship grade in the game.

Don't get fooled by the hype.

This is totally Swig-A-Licious, baby.

Another Gobbie Bag...? Swiggy.

Dealing with Gil-Sellers...? Swiggier

Being able to deliver supplies to Tavnazian Archipelago?? UBER-SWIGGY!!!
