Intro Thread - stop by and say hello

Hello! ^_^

I've been a lurker here for some time (just joined a few weeks back) and thought I might stop in to say hi. This board seems very friendly. :D

My in game name is Zosmaa and I play a Mithra WHM. I static with a Galka PLD, but he also plays various other tank jobs. Most people know him from his job with NIN. :wink: I am part of a very small, but extremely tight knit LS group that was formed from an original LS that disbanded several months after I first started. I've been playing almost a year now.

I recognize many of the names here as I've seen and passed quite a few of you in game when I have been running around from city to city. I even think one or two of you were from my original LS.

Salut!

はじめまして。　ランファです。　どうぞ　よろしく。

American English: Hello! My name is Ranpha or better known as Ranphareallylongname on the Q server. (Ranphamansuura/ ランファマンスウラ) I finally found my way here after a few friends from the CrimsonPiratesPG sold my name to insect fletching distributors. :P

Common things associated with Ranphamansuura: Never leveling; Obnoxious long name; Map Stupid; Goblin Smithies; Sporadic; Jpop

I have been on FFXI since November of 2003, which there have been some good and bad changes over the past year in game. I originally started out as a black mage going on dark knight. After the realization that I would have to level warrior, I quickly gave that up. A friend of mine went on a four month absence from FFXI and so I decided to try out white mage with this character (I have another white mage character on another server). I really liked white mage with my other character and found out that I still like the job. Today, it shocks me that I even have made past level 50. Currently, my white mage is level 57. o_O

My first language is good old Southern American English. I know a little French and Japanese, with the occasional Korean and Swedish phrases too.

As of this post, I am currently enrolled for fifteen credit hours in the college system and awaiting my AA degree in the mail. So if I am not a spam poster or post every once in a while, it is either due to the workload, being on FFXI, or some other excuse.

Well, I think that is more than enough about me for now. I am glad to be a registered member in this forum community. Have a good day! ^^

lol thats got to be the best intro post yet, welcome to the boards ranpha

I am a original resident of Bastok

Greetings, citizen.

Hi all! Tir's the name in XI, just started the game yesterday and found out about these forums about 10 minutes ago... :lol: So I'm really a newbie in all ways, but I'm learning...

I've posted a few times but I just wanted to stop in and say hello :D I've been playing for a few months although my levels don't reflect that (crafting a lot, questing, took time off). Just wanted to say that a lot of people on this board are very helpful and actually provide good information instead of just yelling Noob. I thank you for that.

Welcome everyone!

Welcome Doumoon and I'll see you at ballista (As a PLD soon instead of a RDM all the time^^)

<.< I hate replying in these threads. I always feel weird.

Anyways um, on to the important part: Hello everyone. My name is Kosoki. I don't paticularly have much to say besides "Hello everyone." since I'm not a paticularly interesting person. XD;

So erm, go easy on me. :P

Hey everyone, just registered today.

Basic facts: Elvaan, RDM/BLM, Windurst
Crafts: Fishing, Cooking, soon to be Woodworking

Still never tried a Ballista, bought the expansion disk and still haven't explored the new areas. I blame it on Lu Shang's. Damn you moat carps!

Anyways, hope to see you guys in the game!

Hello everyone, I'm a relatively new player, I've only got 6 days or so play time under my belt.

I'm a Windurstian Taru, currently playing WHM and BLM, levelling both in parallel until I decide which one I prefer.

I used to be a Warrior as I think melee Taru are amazing. But the necessity for me to tank as a warrior and not having enough money for the gear I needed to make this remotely viable has led me to play as a mage instead.

I will still cheer and dance for any melee Taru or Galka mage I see though :D

Planning to give PLD a try in the future.

I recently joined my first LS, Bendenweyr, and I couldn't ask for a finer group of people to play with :)

Anyway, enough about me, see you in Vana'diel.

[Hello!] [everyone]!
/wave
I'm just introducing myself (I had just registered as of yesterday.); meaning: I'm hoping to see some of you people in-game.Also, I haven't read all of the posts (I don't have the time.), I just wanted to get this introduction thing over with. -_-;

I hope some of you noticed me in-game as well; 'Twould be kind of messed up if I recognized some of you and and YOU people don't recognize me. >_<;

/goodbye
[Goodbye!] [Nice to meet you.]

Just saying hi :)

I had been looking for a Quetzal forum and a friend pointed me in this way, so here I am.

I'll fix my sig later, so for now i'll just say I'm a Mithra from Windurst, and my two "mains" are SAM 35 and BLM 32 with a whole bunch of subs and jobs at lower levels. I guess I like the freedom that the beautiful job system in FF gives ^^

Anyway, nice to meet you all and looking forward to be a part of this place :P
