Inuyasha is about to end.

So how exactly did it end? I don't feel like catching up with the manga >.>
 
The manga is now over, the anime ended a few years ago.
 
Maybe they will go back finish the series now that the manga is done? One would hope, or at least make a movie.

They've made FOUR movies. There's zero chance they'll continue the anime since it's been over for about 3 years

All of which had jack shit to do with the actual story line. They were all just side stories. Also I'm pretty sure the fourth one came out after the series was over as well. So yeah, I kinda doubt it.
 
So anyone wanna explain how this thing ended? I hate watching the repeats on adult swim, i generally hate this show over all, but still curious.

I only read the last chapter, but basically after killing naraku(don't know how) Inuyasha stays a demon, and Kagome comes to live with him in the past. Miroku has a few kids with Sango at this point, and I don't remember seeing shippou there, so hopefully he died along the way. That's all that they went over in the last chapter.

shippou went to the fox academy and practices his fox magic, but that's about it he shows up once maybe twice at miroku's home and LOL at your statement and I feel the same way
 
Just read that there will be a new 30 minute anime short for Inuyasha coming out soon (July 30th I think). I don't know much about it but it's called "Black Tessaiga."

I kinda wished shippou grew up somewhere or matured all of a sudden to be a fighter, but then again it's kind of a femimine novel in a way so just for small animal appeal I guess
