Anywayz after all that BS yesterday with people having trouble logging and and what not here goes. A good friend of mine, and a fellow PLD, Antura, was sitting in SSG when i logged in yesterday. There were 3 people in the shell, myself included, when Charybdis popped, and she asked for help, we didn't have the jobs to do so (PLD and DRK was all that was on) so ant begins to seek help on her own. Teppo "accidentally" invites ant and they begin killing chary. When he gets to 1% teppo pulls an old trick of his and quartermasters the Joyuese for himself. Later claming he has done nothing wrong because he didn't know she wanted to lot the sword, and had ever intention of helping ant get herself one later. I really only have 2 things to say about this

1.) Ant was in the Chary room, she didn't have a Joyuese, She was looking for help to kill chary. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what she was after. Granted Teppo isn't the sharpest tool in the shed, but somebodies gotta be the rake, and somebodies gotta be the ho....i think we know which one he is.
2.) May it's just me but i think if somebody helps you with something and they the item as well people should get to lot on it and see where it falls. Maybe i'm crazy but i sorta believe in a thing called common courtesy.

This part is just a nonchalant flame about greed.
If you look at other servers their are NA's that control King HNMs. However on our server it took 2 years for an NA to get fafnir/nidhogg without kissing JP ass to do it. And you have these sell out selfserving assholes like Areia, Shiutou, and Jsoft who camp with the JP and go as far as stealing and MPKing other NA ls's just so they can get what THEY want, which from what i've seen the JP aren't giving them, so at least something good has come out of it, altho odhinn did get his blackbelt after asking lucifar is he would kindly put his dick into odhinn's mouth. Anyway, it sickens me to see NA's backstabbing other NA's to help JP. Some people will prolly claim "O ithenas is just racist" and i will admit yes i am a little bit. I don't have a problem with 95% of the JP people on our server, only the ones that think they were here first, as such they ahve a right to treat all the NA players like shit, which all the King HNM hunting LS's do. Anyway, there's my 2 cents, do with it what you like.
 
That was pretty Vile of Teppo. I do not know if this is fact, as of yet and from now on, it will forever be hearsay, Idon't generally believe anything unless I witness ti myself. Lots of people talk shit and people believe the first person they hear..

As far as the HNM/JP dick sucking contest, I don't care. If people want to get the table scraps for HNMs fine. It's lame of them, but only in the same way it was lame for somone to ask thier High level friends for help with Subjob Items, or Genkai 1 Items.You take that comment however you like.

I personally, in most cases could give two shits about the actual Items from an HNM, as much as I want to fight. The only two Abjurations I want/need are for my Hecatomb Leggings, and my Friend's Dalmatica. But I will try my very hardest to at least try and get them Myself.

You know, a good part of that 2 years was people leveling up to the point where they could take the HNM's, get information on them and form linkshells to do it. It's not like we just didn't care or try, but we just couldn't have hoped to kill them until there were some high level NA's.

In regards to the people in the JP HNM linkshells, I really don't see that much of a problem with it. MPKing or stealing is wrong, but just camping with them isn't a big deal; it's like camping with another HNM LS, just they speak japanese. Just like Phraust said, it's like getting higher level friends to get you your subjob/genkai items. Shit, I'd have my character suck a JP's cyber-cock for a black belt, it's by far the best belt in the game. It'd pwn more to put that on at 70 than putting on an optical hat. If it's the ONLY way, so far, to get the items you need, then I really don't see much of a problem with doing it, as long as you're not doing something illegal.
 
Seriously... look at every other server of FFXI and the majority of the professional HNM/God LS that take the big shit down are a combination of JP and NA and EU players. They work together for items and gil and get shit done.. anyways... on topic.. if teppo really did that...that is disgusting of him to do. Poor Anty...
 
Yes, it'd be great if NA's were getting all the king HNM's. But seeing as how before we were really focusing on getting those HNM's the only way to get the items was to work with the JP, it doesn't seem like that big a deal.
 
Honestly who cares its not like thats the last Joyeuse to be dropped in the server. Yeah that sucks "if" that was the case though Shapatho seemed to be telling me a different story and he was there with Teppo and Antura. The only funny thing is how you see people's greed come to life when these kinds of situations come up. :roll:
 
People really need to lay off Jsoft, he didn't MPK anyone and he helped to settle the dispute afterwards. And what's wrong with camping with JP really? Do you think any Japanese who camp with us are "sucking NA cock"? It's kind of a stupid standard to set. One of the original NA LS to kill Gods *created in part by JSoft(*cough*)*, had several Japanese members who came in and helped. Now I recall spending a lot of time but I don't recall getting my nuts polished up there by of the Japanese members so I find it fairly plausible the opposite holds true.

boy, that would burn me bad. i sat in that god forsaken cave for a week. (no exageration) i week, all day for that week. i got the ls to help THANK GOD. if someone were to do that to me after i spent all that time down there waiting and waiting, you can bet i would stalk taht person and mpk them over and over and over

your right, its not the last one, however, the mantas are not totally soloable. they range from EP-DC to lvl 73. that mob doesnt just pop. you have to kill the placeholders and it pops in intervalks of 8-12 hours. so if you dont know the last kill time and dont have someone there to help you kill the placeholders, nothing else will matter
 
One word... Shady... That is complete bullshit, no one EVER uses quartermaster unless someone lots on an item that they should not be lotting on OR they mean to steal the item. Guess what, what Teppo did is stealing no matter how you look at it. Lost alot of respect for him with the ZM4 incedent in my old part time LS Dragonflam, this kills anything that I may have had after that.

Actually, what Rayn was saying was that it aparently didn't happen the way the OP is saying, so who knows at this point. The whole topic loses a little credibility to the fact that antura herself didn't post this or reply yet, and it was posted by someone who wasn't there and therefore only heard about it from someone else. I'm going to wait until there's a better picture of what happened before I start judging people.
 
yeah, we got lucky actually. i sat there and i knew the prvious ToD. so i called my ls to help me get it to pop and to kill it. we got it to pop and actually got whiped the first go round. we raised, got a little bit more ls members and were in the process of killing it as 2 random people that were ptd up showed up. they didnt try to mpk thank god. but they would have taken the claim if we died again
 
ive quartermastered once. that was the other day for the O. bow. sitting there for a few hours clearing mobs. i was going to need help, so i asked the pt there next to me to help. and to ensure that i got what i came for and what i could actually use, i had my pt ldr quartermaster me so i ensured myself to get it because i didnt know how shifty they were gonna be. i did give away the beastcoinn and all of the other items to the other group as a gift

Guys, we got MPKed last night on Fafnir, (WOW, like everyone did not know) this post is going to be regarding the NA players who were in the JP alliance when the MPK happened.

1. Jsoft- I have and many otherpeople in this shell have known Jsoft a very long time. But, he was not involved directly in the MPK last night. I repeat directly. Now since I had Hped to get back, I did not see if he was going to try and reap the benefits of us getting MPKed (kill Fafnir).

If he was, then he is as dirty as the rest of them, enough said. I would have disbanded as soon as I saw Efrost come with 8 spiders. Now, he is turning this back on us, Saying us MPKing them back was wrong, and not justified. And he will continue to hunt with the JPs.

What a Slap in the face there. One good thing about Jsoft and last night though, he said it was him and Liefe who stopped Lucifar from MPKing us again. Which, I do not know if I believe.

Being as Jsoft was afk at the time, he obviously was not involved. As said in the messageboard. As well, if I recall, there was a retaliation MPK and OH got claim reverse back to them and the kill, so he couldn't have reaped any benefits even if he wanted to.

As for me naming some Japanese who have hunted gods with me before... ok. Peavey.
