Personally I think respect is over-rated, because yea Uzor, your a good guy, but I think that some people just take this game to serious. Not like im ever gonna meet any of the people who like/hate me, so what do I care? If I quit this game tommorrow, I will be forgotten in a week, just like every other person who quit, so why should I care about respect on a "game"? Although I will do whats right, within reason, I really dont care what people think about me on this game, because regardless I still have manyyyyy friends, and it seems those I "don't know" are the ones who take up a bitch fit. As far as Eladamiri goes, hes a great RNG, and has never double-crossed me yet, or done wrong to BoL, and I wont look to his past as an excuse to look at him any differ, until he crosses the line with me or the LS, that goes for every member. I also am not clear your motives on flaunting lucifars search comment around about BoL, as if your trying to degrade BoL, but then again, it is Lucifar so what do I care?

I have nothing against you Krono, but this is bullshit. I keep in contact with all the rangers in the Linkshell. If this were to come up, I'd bring it up with Watch. I mean seriously, what are they gonna bribe us with? Endgame gear? We have to work for that, and I'm sure somebody would notice if we just happened to magically get points out of no where. They can't bribe us with money, I mean for Christ's sake, we're Rangers, we have to know how to make a decent buck. It would be very nice of you if you could give me the name of your source, I'd like to ask him/her their reason for making up this statement.

And for the record, I was the Ranger who "stole" (for lack of a better word) Roc from Shizukakinen(sp?). It was one of the first few day days I had been camping HNm, and did not know many of the ground rules except for MPK. This story is, oddly enough, almost EXACTLY what happened with Simurgh and Twille.

Their Lv40-ish Red Mage (wtf?) was blazed in one it. They were about to wipe, so one of the 3 paladins was going to run it to Port Jeuno. Now right when they claimed I specifically told everyone "DO NOT STEAL, THEY ARE NOT GILSELLERS". Ironically, I was the one who stole it :oops:. I figured "They are gonna die soon enough, might as well claim.". I threw up a Shadowbind, and we fought. A few members had just come out from Serket and wanted to aid us. Brianfist asked how it had gotten so far and I told him the situation. Brianfist said we must give it back, but Shizuka did not catch on fast enough and we lost members quickly. We invited Zhi, one of the Paladins, and killed it, gave him all the drops, and shortly after, I apologized. Just a few mihaps and whatnot. If you wanna ring my neck for it go ahead. That's how it happened. No Bullshit, No heresay, just keepin it real.
 
I apologize for not explaining all of this in one post, but I'd like to add another thing. There are rules in BoL, and there are reasons why we do not kick every member after not abiding them. It's because we are here to have fun. There will be mistakes, slip ups, incidents, but in the end all we are trying to do is have fun, not run some sort of business here and I honestly hope nobody has forgotten that. This should be my last post in this thread now, so peace. :D
 
That is how it happened, and to tell you the truth, i have no hard feelings about it. I was under the impression you were with BoL for a while, and knew the standards BoL uses. (my mistake, please forgive me ^^; )

I don't think that's what the topic is about now though, since nobody has even posted about that for a while on this thread. Not only that, but we really did think it was a mistake, and not consistent behavior, since it never happened at Simurgh. I personally cheer BoL on in everything that they do for people, and WYS certainly doesn't have an easy job making things happen. As a LS leader to a LS leader, i respect him. Whether or not he respects me, is his own deal.

Some people in my LS don't like BoL because of what happened, and i'm sad to say my name got lumped in with that too (most likely because i posted about wanting to know what the standards were, and i still haven't got a direct answer, but it's answered now, so no answer is needed)

This topic has nothing more to give besides more bickering. I'm out.

Ok, I was kicked because I brought up the LS bank issue too much.. thats mainly the reason... my participation for the 1st month of the shell was good, but the 2nd month i was only on weekends and some times during weekdays. I explained this to proph 2-3 times and told him when summer rolls around i would be there 24/7, helping as much as i can....

So basically, he kicked me cuz i brought the LS bank up too much. I asked him 2 times, he got mad at me both times, told me "stfu and trust me, leave the linkshell, blah blah blah *cough i steal from the LS* blah blah blah"

Then, one day, i get on the LS and hear the whole LS talking about the bank. some things i remember is warick estimating the LS bank being at 30 mil, Kateverlasting saying proph showed her the bank and it was 28 MIl, Ithenas asking "why did he buy a royal cloak" and other people asking about other purchases.

So, being the nice guy I am, I say
"Hey everyone, lets stop talking behind his back, I will go make a post in our forums regarding the LS bank, and everyone post their concerns."
I even said "please post, I dont wanr proph to boot me"
After i say this in LS chat
Lucylittle: "good idea ela, go make the post"
warick: " i will post in it as well"
so 2 key members basically agreeing with me, and lucylittle(LS sack holder) telling me to do it

I make the post, I make it as nice as i can, I dont make ANY accusations, ALL I DO IS ASK THAT WE GET A RECORDER FOR LS BANK

So i start talking too dresdan, he gives me a pearl, I go to sky with then ONE DAY, go on vacation for 4, come back for 1 day, then tell dresdan im gonna be leaving.
the day I joined the shell(after the only sky run i did with them) i told dresdan i wasn't sure i was gonna stay with shell.. so i go on vacation, think about it, and decide to leave the shell for personal reasons

so no i wasnt kicked.... ESP is a great group of people, dresdan is a great leader, but it just wasn't the place for me

also, i should add... Im gonna guess that necrosis is a bitch.. he MT to me basically saying im "the whore of SKY LS, switching between them weekly"

well, Ive had 3 sky shells in my sky career
OH for 2-3 months
esp for 1 week(did one farming run, vacation the rest of time)
and now im with BoL, who im sticking with, and im honored WYS let me back in the shell(i did HNM with them long time ago)

ya, so w/e, theres my life story. Prophecy is a good leader.. he got shit done, hes helped so many fucking people with their abjurations, but why wouldnt he just get som1 to record? I dont even know if he steals gil, but his actions make ti seem like he does

I'd prolly take a 59 BRD over a 61 PLD to Simmy because of the Mambos for the NIN tank (1 NIN tank with 1 BRD is all you really need and then one SATA person and a healer and a RDM to help refresh to keep MP up with the BRD's refresh and ya.. it's really all you need...) and second.. HAHA!! I fucking told you all about Prophecy's bullshit.. why do you think no one from Ultima does shit with him? I'm sorry but I just can't help and laugh cause I knew he'd screw you over.. and I know in time he'll screw more of you over. I don't really care if he's gotten people abj and rare/ex armor and such. WYS. you seem to care a lot about your LS reputation for not caring.

There are 3 ways to get "famous" in a game;
1) Become very hated
2) Become very skilled/good
3) Achieve something great

For LS's it's the same, wit hthe exception of a fourth way; Have a very big LS.

Now, the top 4 list of the most famous people on our server is like this:

1. Lucifar
2. Serise
3. Riese
4. Ailia/Ailove

As you can see, the most famous people on our server are the most hated. Can you tell me the top 4 list of famous people for being GOOD? Because quite frankly, all of those 4 people are generally assholes.

Now, the interresting thing is how reputation works. You can do all the good in the world, but it doesn't take many bad things in order to totally ruin your reputation. And a bad reputation makes people remember you for a longer time, and is much harder to get rid of.

Now, what do yo uwant your LS to be remembered by? I'm sure you'd be prefered to be remembered as a skilled, good and large LS, instead of a hated one. Now think about it, what IS it remembered by? Personally, I get an uneasy feeling when I hear the name "Blood of Legends" because of the ammount of shit I've t aken from many of it's members.

WYS, you are a good leader, and the LS is generally a good one, but it only take a few bad apples in order to ruin it.

And Elad, we had talked abotu kicking you long before that thread, and everyone posting in there didn't get kicked. Besides, Proph did change. We have a point system now and the gil get split among the members in the LS, so meh. I will always be with proph untill the deay one of us quit or I get kicked out of the LS, and I don't see either of it happening for a while.
