WYS. you seem to care a lot about your LS reputation for not caring.
There are 3 ways to get "famous" in a game;
1) Become very hated
2) Become very skilled/good
3) Achieve something great
For LS's it's the same, wit hthe exception of a fourth way; Have a very big LS.
Now, the top 4 list of the most famous people on our server is like this:
1. Lucifar
2. Serise
3. Riese
4. Ailia/Ailove
As you can see, the most famous people on our server are the most hated. Can you tell me the top 4 list of famous people for being GOOD? Because quite frankly, all of those 4 people are generally assholes.
Now, the interresting thing is how reputation works. You can do all the good in the world, but it doesn't take many bad things in order to totally ruin your reputation. And a bad reputation makes people remember you for a longer time, and is much harder to get rid of.
Now, what do yo uwant your LS to be remembered by? I'm sure you'd be prefered to be remembered as a skilled, good and large LS, instead of a hated one. Now think about it, what IS it remembered by? Personally, I get an uneasy feeling when I hear the name "Blood of Legends" because of the ammount of shit I've t aken from many of it's members.
WYS, you are a good leader, and the LS is generally a good one, but it only take a few bad apples in order to ruin it.
And Elad, we had talked abotu kicking you long before that thread, and everyone posting in there didn't get kicked. Besides, Proph did change. We have a point system now and the gil get split among the members in the LS, so meh. I will always be with proph untill the deay one of us quit or I get kicked out of the LS, and I don't see either of it happening for a while.
Well seeing as this thread is not even 3 days, old, 10 pages and over 2300 views, it seems quite obvious to me that BoL is popular in its very own way :wink: now, as much as I try to uphold a good reputation, just the word "BoL" pops ANYWHERE, controversies arise. Now like you said, I could try to do all the "Good" in the world, but it takes just a few "Bad" things to happen, then your rep is ruined right? Well lets see.. me being a LS-Leader.. I kick some people out, or some people leave.. and for whatever hateful reasons they have, they begin to spread rumors and talk alot of shit, saying a bunch of this and thats, now as some people begin to believe them, and press on furthur changing up the story, what can I do? Moral of the story? people always twist up words, and thoughts to benefit themselves, and make themselves look like the "good" guy, in order to salvage respect (Like Krono-face), but in actualilty its the complete opposite. So basically ima say it like this, if you were'nt/aren't in BoL then you really dont have a say in anything that happens inside the LS. Because anyone will tell you, our motives are pure and right.
However since this is such an amazing thread in the 3 days its been up, its quite obvious to see that people will always throw in they're 2 cents, thus it brings us to where we are at now. I can't fight the world, but I sure as hell will defend my LS to the bitter end, I wont hide behind my guys, for the mere fact, a couple people wanna bash us (clearly they've failed in the attempt, if you read the previous pages). So whatever, take it how you want
and regardless, every LS has its bad apples, and i've seen soooo many LS's come and go, which is why I choose to "keep" BoL alive, because we have "History". I could care-less about fame, because I feel, if you've earned it, then its better appreciated, so I guess Im states as _In-famous now eh?
As far as Proph goes, what he does in his LS is his business, because he has good people in his LS (ex-bol members), so its none of my business, he runs his thing, I run mine. As far as my top 4 GOOD list members, its all members in "MY" LS, because we do stuff for each other, people outside my LS, hardly do shit for me, therefore it matters nothing to me. I'm not saying I dont care about people outside my LS, because I have many friends, but there are MANY people I used to call friends, and helped them WITH MANY things, (Sky, OpHat, Genkai, AF, etc etc the list goes on), and they turned- they're backs, and now even some are on here talking shit.. those are the ones that degrade BoL, and will stop at nothing, but whatever, have a personal vendetta, doesnt matter much to me :roll:
), but he's not in the top 4 list. He may be in the top 10 list, though, as he himself said. Love him, hate him, whatever you chose is up to you.
