I'm not sure if such a tool exists but a problem that I have with multi-page threads is that posts are accumulated rapidly and because of that there are lots of pages.

Is there a tool to take you back to the place you once were before more posts were made?

For example when you see a thread on top of a forum area take for instance the Windhurst thread if another person besides myself posts there I can click on the thread from the homepage and be taken to the next post even if there are multiple posts afterwards.

Is there a way to do this with subscribed threads and or threads that may not be on top but have lots of pages.

Additionally would it be possible to implement a way to list an index of people that post in a particular thread and search their posts in just that thread.

I realize you can just manually search threads page by page tediously and for a long time, but a tool such as this would be useful for threads that accumulate rapidly such as the FB, muusic, rl pics, update threads for ffxi, etc.

Just a suggestion and my thoughts thanks

Hmm, What lucki posted, but usually it takes me to the first new post anyways >.>

I was gonna say what Lucki already covered and add that Windurst is not spelled with an H.

It's ok Linh. They have to misspell our nation's name to keep their minds off being from San d'yvagina

In the last post column you will see something like this... the double arrows will take you to the last post. Its done via the DB so its pretty accurate.

Also, if you click on the # in the posts column, you will see a list of who posted. Ie: click here - this should work: 8. You can then click on the users name ot see their profile or the # of the posts they made in that thread to read the posts in question.

Also, because are fraking awesome, you can search for a term in any given thread! Or choose the advanced search to search by term and username.

edit: hitting advance in the thread search allows you to search by term and name as well. See here:
