Alot of the stuff on here we have already but there are some interesting things that this has that we don't. I was looking for a ffxi template for 3.0 when I came across this. Unfortunately the guy only has one for 2.0.

I realize this be a lot of work but something think about if you wanted to do some type of project. If anything maybe get some ideas.
 
Their forums run on phpBB.
From my, meager mortal viewpoint, a hack like that would be possible. I just don't think it's readily available, and the people who run those forums probably built it from scratch.
 
That's phpbb, this is vbulletin.

Honestly, I like phpbb more, but vbulletin has more options, you just have to make them yourself.

I doubt we'll see anything like that, unless one of the admins is a good coder and I just don't know it yet.
 
Like I said if anything give ideas of things the can do.
 
It wouldn't be too hard to add, is there enough interest in it though?

The characters.php would take a little bit of coding.
The post could look a little cluttered from that.

Is there some kind of 15 minute abs-like system for coders?

More so the first link then the second. Even though having your race and craft under the avatar would not be a bad thing. If you where going do the full char jobs lvl, probably should just do something like ffxiah and have a direct feed from ls community site. but should be in place of a signature if anything.

I don't get it. If it's editing your profile to add certain things...don't we have that already?

I would probably use the profile fields system to add the basics - that would let us to put the specs into the postbit easy enough and we could write a simple characters.php script to query on those fields.

I'd want to make it in such a way that users could add their wow / conan / etc characters too. Hmmmm :ph34r:

Maybe I should actually talk to you sometime and let you know what I'm doing to postbit. xD

OT: don't touch QCDN it is fine the way it is. How about we let the mods focus on things that don't deal with just pure aesthetic value.
