Is this a good videocard?

3D Fuzion GeForce FX5500 256MB 8x/4x AGP Video Card

Found it on fry's electronics website http://shop2.outpost.com/product/4494546#detailed

Just wondering if the low price is worth it

For 29 bucks it's not bad for an AGP card I suppose. If I had a mobo that ran AGP I would toss 29 bucks in for it.

well if its any comparison its a possible upgrade for my nvidia gforce2 mx/mx400 card ?

I bought a Geforce 7300 for $30 after the rebate from fry's, it's not that bad, but there's other cards that are a lot better for a little more money.

Also, I think really AGP is my best option I don't think my Nvidia nForce2 Motherboard is PCIExpress compatible

Yeah, FFXI has laughably low requirements for a PC game; partially due to it's age, but mostly now because it has to be compatible with the PS2.
