Me and a group of LS friends want to start attempting some ISNM 60's. My problem is, having never done one of these, i really have no idea what to expect. Lets start the easy way...

Party setup:
Player 1: MNK or PLD (No NIN sub available ; ;)
Player 2: RDM or PLD (NIN sub available)
Player 3: MNK or WHM (NIN sub available)
Player 4: THF (unsure of subs)
Player 5: SMN (unsure of subs)

I dont have a 6th yet, but im sure someone will be intrested.

Anyways, can any ISNM veterans reccomend a particular one that this party setup would be good for. The "Call to Arms" one has practically no strategies listed anywhere that i can find. The other two are a toss up.

Any advice is greatly appreciated, as always.

Making a Mockery is the only one I have done. First try we had a pseudo normal set-up. Wiped like no ones business. The Birds Charm ability is a small aoe range so our mages had to put up with us killing them. We never did win that night.

Afterwards I set up an all pet style for the same IPNM. Worked much better but was still very difficult at times.

With a non pet set-up I read of people have a really good success rate with allowing themselves to all be charmed. Usually they would uncharm at the same time… but this is just something I read.

I forget what the charm move is called but it has a real short casting time, yet not so fast that it can not be stunned.

Making a Mockery:

take all the jobs you have listed on the left column and pick up a ninja. everyone crowd the colibri so everyone gets charmed, and hope it dont wear early for a single person. with 2 monks Altana help that poor individual. Make sure to claim quick after uncharmed caaause it regens when unclaimed. be sure to use tp moves as soon as possible too, after charm tp 0%. its a real easy bcnm, only ever an issue when the colibri spams charmga, which from my experience is once every 18 runs, give or take. also, the harder the colibri, the better the drops. but that could be a coinky-dink.

The one in Halvung:

only did it once, its a wamaura rolli poli bastard, helluva resistance to melee, and has a hate reset move. read somewhere its resistance varies upon form. chi blasts did dmg, could in the two monks, pld, thf, smn aaaand pick up a blm, see what you boys can do.

The third one:

never did it, but i'll glady be yalls 6th man.

hope some of that was helpful. </bow>

Precicely what i was looking for, thank you :)

Yeah, Making a Mockery is easy as was mentioned, stay all together and hope not to lose charm first. Normally a mage will have it wear first unfortunately if it does wear.

Other than that, try to avoid bringing a blm so it doesn't reflect at you.

As for Wamouracampas, if you're going to do that one, may want to bring some blms... These things resist to magic in stretched form, weak to physical then, and in a ball form they resist physical, weak to magic.
