Yah, lot's of PLDs use Earth Staff for exp parties... :ph34r:
Or it simply could be because he is now at end levels and has HNM/Gods to use them for. Pretty sure PLD is going need all the accuracy they can get from the A+ sword which is guaranteed to be leveled versus the A- staff that is almost guaranteed to be not leveled to hold hate when they eat +def/vit food and not +acc food like the rest of the melee.
