Well guys, i suppose there's no other way to say this aside from, i'm leaving, and i'll be taking with me the best memories a guy could have.

It was a damn good run, and i couldn't have been prouder of the things we've done. We started off from a tiny all-bst LS, that used to camp Rapido for fun and excitement, all the way to a full grown LS full of amazing people, always maintaining the all-bst/smn/pup attitude, and all of these amazing people brought this LS to life.

Since the begining, i've been proud to call myself the lead of the flock (even thought i wasn't the only one). Now i think the time has come for me to pass forth the batton. This may be a selfish act, but recent "occurances" have made it very clear that i'm not the lead i used to be. And i'm sorry about that. I've always tried to be fair and just, and honest to everyone. My apologies if i haven't been.

Believe it or not, i'm shaking whilst writing this. It's definitely not an easy decision, but i've let down a couple of key people enough to know i'm in harms way, so it's best i just call it quits, and go back to my own business, and possibly join another shell, or just quit altogether, which seems like a very decent option, since TheFlock is what kept me from doing so back in the day...

Anyways, i just wanted to say thank you, to all of you. Everyone was fantastic, and i will definitely not forget any of you till the day i have altzhimers. FFxi has become more than just a game to me, in the social aspect. I've met the most fascinating people, and that's been fantastic.

So, a last thank you, and i'll be taking my leave. Let me know what you want to do as far as the shell goes, and the leadership alike, so i can talk to a GM and transfer my LinkShell to someone else, or what not.

Anyways, i'd like to say i had a blast, and i'd love to say that deff the best times of my life ingame were with TF. Good luck, and godspeed.

It seems you may be leaving the game entirely, although it's not totally determined by the tone your post. I'm glad to have known you, Dejan. Take care.
 
You're an awesome guy, Dejan. I'll be sad to see you leave if you do quit.
 
Damn Dejan, we've known each other for some time now just haven't talked in a while sadly.
I hope you don't end up quitting, you're a good guy, a break is always good once in a while though, just hope if you do take one it's not permanent.
 
I remember way back when, we ended up duoing a while in Qufim on my Puppetmaster...

I still haven't gotten that 75 yet, I've put it on the backburner to meet a couple other self-imposed goals.

Hopefully this decision you make is what will make you truly happy.

Don't think about passing the shell, doubt a GM could/would do that anyway.

Suspend your account and just put it on the backburner in case a feeling of nostalgia whips over.

You're the father of that shell and regardless of what's felt, that's something that's never gonna change big dog.

I'm glad you enjoyed your run and have capable hands to place your work in.

seriously tho. YOU and mana, and weap and matt are what kept me in the game for so long on theflock. what u did was amazing with the shell and if u wanna come back and continue to lead it, thats ur decision. either way, ur a great human being and one day damnit im coming to rio to meet ur ass! ;/ lol

seriously tho, ur a great guy man. one of the best i met on the game.

/salute to the guy who got all those bsts together for killing all them NM/HNM/Gods/Kirin on this server, not an easy task to say the least. Just wish i had more free time to come help :(

Kinda sucks that you're quitting rather then just handing over the reigns as leader to someone else and enjoying the game the way it was meant to be. Either way, take care in all you do and may your return(face it, they all come back) be a swift and painless(ie, getting your character/gear/gil in one piece) one.

i second this motion. This man single handedly inspired me to level bst (now approaching 43) and made me work hard to find a place in the bst/smn linkshell.

it almost brings me to tears seeing you leave bro, and im sorry for the many hours i was afk instead of being able to mess around with ya on vent or ingame.

Keep in touch man, you're a great guy and its been an honor getting to know you. But so you know. When my bst hits 75 im dragging you back into the game so we can duo something epic.

And, for the memories.
