Anyone has a social LS for a few characters? I got my GF playing so she's just learning the controls and I may revive another character from back in the day. I'm so lost in this game now

There's a LOT to go over and too much to do in one post but check out the forums on here and FFXIAH, there's lots of threads covering all the changes. People will look at you weird if you don't understand proc'ing and Maws. trust me lol. It's fairly easy to understand, just a lot of material.
I haven't played in a while, so I may be a tad off; no, the wait period is 24 hours and the item to enter is now a key item that doesn't disappear, so once you get it, it's yours forever. I don't remember it costing a million either, but that's really fuzzy to me. You still have to do the necessary quests to be able to participate as well as the necessary clears to be able to enter zones that required a per-requisite area clear.
This is true, there is a 500k purchase of KI hourglass now. And it's 24 hr on the JP times, so every morning NA times, it resets ad the one time 500k is life long access. Also be aware, that there is a bug that you may get stuck not being able to buy the KI hourglass at the gob. He says you still have an old one if they removed it while you were away. The solution was to trade him 500k in hand and he gives it too you, but there is no prompt for it for some people.
I personally liked new Dynamis but I went through hell after many years of always being outlotted or out positioned by leaders in shells. Hey Raes, how does new Salvage work? I might be able to get some gear if/when I come back.
I like the new set-up as well. Makes it more fair for everyone, but mostly, the only reason to get relics any more is to upgrade to +1's/2's. Stand alone relics pale in comparison to VNM/Salvage/Empery stuff. But a LOT more relic weapons floating around due to the ability to farm coins now.
Boo imo I really enjoyed gathering so many people together to enter dynamis as a group and have fun as a group. Lag could get annoying, sure, but I'd rather server upgrades and such over time to fix that than reducing what the system was supposed to be. Oh well. I never did finish my AF2 for my RDM (gave up my hat chance since I was planning to quit at the time) or my Excalibur (which at the time I was at stage 3 or 4, I forget, but it was a big deal at the time
). Ah well.
Yeah I do miss the runs too, but again, you can still get like two parties and clear, or make a run at DL. It's only the option of sneaking/invis by most of the zone that adds a different option for it. Run straight to the TE mobs, down em, then start clearing anything you want ^-^. Fair warning, Blm is soooo nerfed in the new set-up, so forget the old strategy lol. Need dancers, nins, blms, and Smn's now
All in all, welcome back to anyone that's loading in, and come on back to anyone that's thinking about it! Like Raes said, it's a minor investment to get all the content up to now (sans the new seekers expansion which is 30 bucks ::hurl::...)
not sure if it finally ended, merged with another, or is still going strong. I sure hope still going strong.
