I never liked anything she made. She's a bad singer/actress. She has a problem with letting the spot light go. She does w/e she can to try and stay in it. She needs to just stop, fuck off for a few years, and come back with something decent. I listened to the song and hated it. Tried too much to sound trendy.
 
That producer should be shot for wasting a good beat on her.

I like what she's trying to do with her voice but meh, its trying too hard.

If she wants to sound like Timberlake/Timbaland she should go talk to them about them assisting on a song instead of dropping her babies.

I'm proud to say I'm one of that 20%. Britney sucks no matter what!

The only pop music I actually DO like, is J-Pop, not trashy American/British pop princess whore pop. I also dislike rap! Metal ftw!

Rap and Metal aren't that far appart.

Slipknot is both.

Some rap is awesome, the sheer aggressive undertones and whatnot, Cypress Hill, NWA, Tupac, Good rap exists, as does shitty metal.

So don't make such broad generalisations, eh?

No, I listened to it, but I'll admit I shut it off less than halfway through.

It's awful. Everything she's ever done, from a technical standpoint, is awful. She's a terrible singer. Literally, of that particular "generation" of pop-tarts, in this case Britney Spears, Mandy Moore, Jessica Simpson and Christina Aguilera etc, she's far and away the worst singer of the lot. While I might not like any of their music, in the case of some of them I can at least appreciate a certain measure of vocal talent.

Britney Spears has no vocal talent.

What she had was someone writing catchy songs for her and putting her underage ass in a Catholic Schoolgirl outfit. That requires little more than a willingness to degrade yourself for profit.

I agree Slipknot isn't awesome. Old stuff is pretty good, but volume 3 was shit.

Dream Theater> Dragonforce.

I agree Britney Sucks got about half way through it got tired of the annoying ass vocals.

I said I thought it was catchy. But like Wenny said, it was mostly the beat, not the artist.

A lot of people that dont like rap tend to concentrate on the shit coming out nowadays, they neevr look into "classic rap" like Tupac, NWA, Bone Thugs etcm early to mid 90s shit. Crap like Laffy Taffy and every 50cent song are making rap seem like a joke.

If so, I wouldn't think "gangsta", but more along the lines of childrens' songs.

Rappa made a damn good point about bandwagoning, and although I have personally never liked/fapped/fantasized about Britney, this song is actually a little bit better than some of the drek she's expunged through the past few years.


Worst goddamn torture ever: Repeatedly playing "Baby One More Time" six times in a row 'accidentally' by repeatedly pressing the button on the Pizza Hut jukebox. I wanted to kill my brother's best friend for that; I even sharpened the knife.
 
Morning talk shows have been all over the VMA fiasco from this weekend. I watched the clips (not the original performance) and I can honestly say: "Holy shit, get that girl offstage".

Just look at her face, she's terrified. She would barely move, barely open her mouth to lip-sing and kinda only focused on what she could see with that horrified little girl look on her face. She looked like she was going to cry. Not even during the performance, did she warm up to the crowd at all.

That look alone on her face made my stomach twist in worry, guilt and sadness for her. Babygirl needs to take a very long vacation with her children. Take a few years off and just not bother with all this bullshit and just be herself again. Rumors started circulating again about these suckers she seems to always have. They reportedly the kind given to child cancer patience that have a heavy dosage of opiate in them for pain. Not really sure, but I can honestly say she didn't looked doped up on stage, just scared out of her mind.
 
Imagine the amount of pressure on her to "come back". Hell, even the local HARD ROCK RADIO STATION in Charleston was saying "I wished she would have lost 20 pounds, toned up, come out and blown the audience away, then flipped everyone off in the end." CMON, that's a Hard Rock station >.< What do they care what she does?

Pressure to come back looking "better than ever", stress surrounding her what with the K-Fed shite and with her treatment of the kids, omgHangingOutWithParisWTF, and just her general state of mind is probably what F'd her up entirely. I won't say she's not somewhat to blame for the state she's in now, because she's an adult and should have some scruples about her by now... but damn. She really needs to just sit back, say "fuck the world", and enjoy life a little without worrying what the world thinks about her.
