It's Conquered...? O_o;

Hiya folks,

I guess everyone is kind of wondering what the whole conquered thing on the 25th means and all that jazz. Well I basically got the idea from listening to the beginning of this theme!



Listening to the beginning it basically says that it’s conquered. I guess it was a little mental thing to keep me going until now. I had made this decision a little while ago before the whole clique thing happened, but wanted to wait until I got a couple more things done first.

Anywho, as of tonight, I am stepping down from my position of Administrator for a slew of reasons. Most are personal so I’m not exactly going to be sharing them. Part of it to can be expressed through this awesome song!



I will still be around to provide support to the admins and mods that are still on, but I truly believe that it is time for my leave.

I consider this my Christmas gift to myself. I pretty much conquered this board. I got to the highest I could, and I had a great time doing it. It has been a pleasure to be the admin for this site for as long as I was. So as a little going away “gift” I have installed a gift hack that allows users to give gifts to their friends! The hack is very simple and easy to add more, so future admins can put in as many pictures and whatnot as they would like. ^_^

I wish the best of luck to everyone. It was a blast here but I would like to start getting back into the game and not worry about the board or its state of affairs at all. I finally have found a great group to hang out with and things are going well there!

Edit - Guess it would be a good idea to tell you how to use the gifts! Basically just look at a persons account and there should be a block with gifts there. Just give the images away!

Same here. I'm out too. That's my Christmas gift to some of you!

In case anyone cares, the only reason I said "yes" to Miros when he had asked me about being a Global Moderator is, well... because it was Miros asking. I liked the direction he wanted to put the site in and working on that was somewhat successful, but for the most part, there were too many fits and such that roadblocked a lot of things panning out the way they were envisioned.

Ah well! It was a fun ride!

I figured i would bring back our trend for parodies with a final tribute to Miros. Based off the Nightmare Before Christmas song he posted:

There are few who deny, at what he does, he is the best. For his talents are renown far and wide. When it comes to surprises on QCDN.org, he excels without ever even trying. With the slightest little effort of his gay like charms, he has made grown men give out a shriek. With a wave of his hand and a well placed moan, he has swept the very straightest off their feet. Yet report after report it’s the same old thing. He grew so tired of the flamebaiting. Yet he, MIROS the AD-MIN, has grown so tired of the same old thing.

Oh somewhere deep, inside of those bones, an emptiness began to grow. There’s something out there far from his site. A longing that he’ll never know.

He’s the master of bans and a demon with infractions, and he’ll try to scare you right out of your pants (not kidding!). To a user from Kentucky, he’s Mr. Unlucky and he’s known throughout Quetzalcoatl and Vanadiel. And since he’s stepped down, he can finally enjoy himself, and maybe get back to his beastmaster. No goblin or elvaan can scream like he can, every time he get’s a mischarm.

But who here would ever understand that the administrator with his boyish grin, would tire of his crown. If someone only understood that he’d give it all up if he only could. There’s an empty place inside his bones that calls out for something very known. The fame and praise weren’t there at all, and do nothing for his character.



It was a first try, but i think it turned out pretty well.

Twas night yet seemed light day came so quick,
The admin was set by a man who reminded of st. Nick(reeve)
Was not very pure and bright
Till somebody saw a blinding light,

To the smart masses, no major overhauls are planned for at least the next month, and even then I have nothing in mind -- barring any plans I make in regards to losing what amounts to two moderator positions.
