It's been a while since I've seen a nice, soft snow like it is right now. I wish I had my camera with me, I'd post up some pics.

Normally we get some freezing rain, but this is kinda rare, at least in the 5 years I've lived here.

Same here in Augusta. Got some flurries about 6 pm then it turned to rain. It just now hit 32degrees (according to weather.com) Unfortunatly it will probably turn to freezing rain and cause chaos in the morning. It was nice to see some flakes earlier. Even caught some on my tongue as I was walking the dog. =P

Is it sticking there?

Last snow fall we had here in Vancouver was like 3-4 inches and gone in a day thanks to rain :(

It was freezing rain in Charleston last night. Stine and I noticed it when we were going to the movies; it made a royal mess of my windshield though D:

Its the aliens....

And its funny how like an inch of snow anywhere in the south and they stop like everything. And yet up in minnesota they wouldn't cancel school if there was 5ft of snow, -30 degrees and a blizzard outside. They'd just tell you to tough it out. Fuck its cold up here...

I remember when I was younger I met a girl down in Florida. She was from Maine and I'm slightly north of Toronto. She asked me why all Canadians lived in igloos...

We Alabamians got the slush slush last night ;_; but when i wok up it looked like snow on the ground

He's not even kidding.

One day here we got like 16 inches of snow overnight but i still had school the next day. The day after that it went from 16 --> 20+ and THEN they cancelled school. Probably just felt bad for us.

it snowed in PA today, it still is snowing, but that's really nothing new :P

You fucker sent that up to NY. I hate snow lol

snowed here in memphis just a little bit though it was more ice than snow.

Snow is great, but ice can go dive into the 7th level of hell for all I care, FUCK ICE

LOL. Win. It reminds me of Ron Mercer (Think thats who it was) and his sketches/interviews.

Like other people were saying, it;s hilarious how 1" of snow down South will stop everything. My older sister lives in Del Rio, Texas. They had a little bit of snow a few weeks ago and she said there was no one on the roads, and everyone was freaking out because they thought they would crash if they drove anywhere. We both found it pretty funny. <.<;

We had a snowball fight at work today before it all melted away. Ahh well, maybe we'll do it again if it snows next year.

I live in Pittsburgh, but made a business trip to Atlanta this week. I was sooo excited to spend some time in the south, nice and warm...but nooo. I was helping some new guys with some field work while it started snowing, and it was so funny to see the little kids running around all excited.

I see this shit 3 months a year. What a bunch of crap that I have to see it down there too :(

I was in Lawrenceville/Lilburn btw.

That's like, 20mins from me. Damn.

It snowed like mad today, big huge flakes. It made me happy. Reminded me of the days when I walked home from school with the flakes hitting me in the face, getting home and having some hot chocolate and staring out the window when I was supposed to be doing homework! lol (I've been a bit homesick lately)

Powdery Snow > Heavy Rain all year

I do not miss the tropical weather at all. Pelting cold rain in the winter was not exactly warm either. Glad some of you enjoyed the random snow in the south. \('-'\)
