I've never been but Bonaroo doesn't strike me as the moshpit kinda place, other than maybe the Metalliheads there this year.

Ok, here we go.
We get to bonnaroo, and start to set up camp around 5pm on Thursday. Our nieghbors at camp are complete and utter frat boy douche bags. They keep tellin us that the 5 of us are taking up more room than the 2 of them and that isn't fair somehow. They keep picking our shit up and moving it.
We had a kickass flag to help find our way back to camp this year.
After we get all set up, we left camp to head for Lez Zepplin. As I am walking, I notice a red lighter laying on the ground, and a bowl packed full of hydro laying right next to it. It's just laying in the middle of the field. Great find.
Saw Zach Galifianakis, reggie Watts, and John Mulaney do some stand up. I laughed till I cried.

After that, Lez Zepplin. They put on a good show. The music was awesome, the drums could have been better, but honestly, who can keep up with John Bonham? We dropped by Porter -Batiste - Stoltz for a minute and then got tickets for the ferris wheel and checked out some of the art around the site.
Went back to camp around 2am.
Friday, I was gona go see Umphrey's McGee, but it was too damn hot, so i went back to the comedy tent to cool off and see Janeane Garofalo, Mike Birbiglia, and Leo Allen. Got good pics of that one. We were really close.
Time for Les Claypool. He rocked the fuckin house. If people were awesome, he'd be China.

Oh yeah, then there was this fuckin guy...
After that, I took the best acid I have ever had. It started raining and Metallica was coming up so I went back to camp. The people I was camping with went to the front of Metallica. They said guys were just pulling their dicks out pissing in front of the stage. People moshing like crazy. It was wild. I was camped close enough to centeroo that I heard the whole concert. But I was on Acid. And I couldn't stop laughing.
What was I laughing at? Remember those douchebag frat boy nieghbors? They left thier tent open. It rained like water out of a bucket. They had this cheap ass 5 dollar canopy they put up to keep all thier stuff dry. it had the extreme opposite effect. The middle pole fell down and it effectivly became a rain catcher with a hole in the middle pissing directly on everything they were trying to keep dry.
Can you say FAIL TENT? I knew that you could. It got better too. After it really started coming down, the side of the canopy closest to thier tent fell and formed a chute going directly into thier tent. There was more water in thier tent than there was on the ground. Moral of the story? Don't be a douche bag to the people you camp next to.
The acid trip lasted all night long and well into the morning. It was lots of fun.
These guys came to camp selling "beer sweaters" and they were fucking awesome. I bought 3. I don't even drink beer. They made me laugh so hard I was just going to give them some money. They could have sold me anything. They were good people, and after they sold us the beer sweaters, they said "where is your beer, I'll put it in there for you? Then i said we don't drink beer and they looked at me like I said I couldn't walk or something, they just thought us not drinking was the saddest thing ever. It was awesome.

Saturday morning, I didn't get to the roo untill 2:30 after that crazy trip and all the rain cooling it off so much I was actually able to sleep till 12pm or so.
Little Feet was the first show I saw that day. Then Gogol Bordello. If you aren't familiar with Gogol Brdello, stop reading this and go download it right fucking now. better yet, just watch this:
See that fucking crowd? oh my god there was so much energy at that show. Gypsy punk music. Check it out.
Then BB King. He talked a lot and told a lot of stories. He was great. Funny, good music just all around entertaining.
Jack Johnson on mushrooms after that. I came. Someone gave him the Wah Wah pedal that Hendrix used to play his show with. Eddie Vedder came out on stage and they did a duo.
I went to the fountain for a little while after that. Ya know, being on mushrooms and all.
Went to bed not too long after that.
Sunday, was soooooo hot. Stright to the Air Conditioned Comedy Tent with my fat ass. Jim Norton, Brian Posehn, and Michelle Buteau. I laughed till I cried, again.
After that, I walked around for a bit. I wondered by Jacob Dylan, then Yonder Mountain String Band. Good music.
Then I went I saw the best show of the year, O.A.R.
I made a video, and I'll post it as soon as I get it uploaded.
They were awesome.
and then, the moral of the story.
On the way home, I missed a speed limit change sign and got pulled over for 55 in a 65. I got searched. The found 1/2 oz of weed, 3 pipes, a grinder, a rolling machine, and 2 packs of papers. I told them the entire truth the entire time. I showed them where the drugs were when they asked me if I had anything else. He wrote me a ticket, thanked me for being honest and sent me on my way.
The moral is, the truth will set you free.

Les fuckin Claypool was there this year? I didn't know that >< And I can't believe you didn't go to Metallica....
Les Claypool has performed 14 times at Bonnaroo. There have been only been7, and he missed last year. When he is there, he plays with everyone. He always plays SuperJam. SuperJam is something they do every year at Bonnaroo where some of the members of some of the bands come Jam together. It's good shit.
Metallica. Fuck Metallica. They brought shit like mosh pits to fucking bonnaroo. The most peaceful place on earth. What the hell? After they tried to take down Npaster, they go to Festival of former Napster users.
I downloaded everything they had via Bit Torrent when I got home. Then I deleted it.

Fuck Metallica? Fuck YOU! Just because new Metallica is a piece of shit doesn't mean old Metallica stopped being awesome. I agree that they shouldn't have been at Bonaroo, but you can't blame Metallica for taking the gig, blame the assholes who offered it to em.
P.S. I've stolen every single one of my Metallica albums, and not online. I got the hardware :thumbsup: because yeah fuck the whole Napster thing.
Les better be there when I get there for the first time. Primus sucks.

The local radio station was giving away tickets in a contest. I never got the right call -_- I wanted to go so badly this year. I'm a huge fan of like... nearly the entire lineup. I tried getting people to go with me but they were all about their stupid responsibilities and crap like that. Stupid job and responsibilities *kicks dirt*.
