Seconded. He's an ego-maniac whose talent does not outweigh his shitty attitude.
I would've loved to go too. ; ; {joins the pouting party}
Kanye West doesn't care about white people and that's what it really boils down to.
The fountain is fun, on thursday. But it is the same water in the fountain all weekend long. so by sunday, it's the mud fountain.
There is a lot of other stuff to do there in addition to the comedy and music.
There is a shop where you can go get naked and have your body painted head to toe.
There was a Nokia tent where you can go create a short film in front of a blue screen. Then they let you add effects and backgrounds and what not. After Bonnaroo ended, all the footage was sent to spike lee, who is going to use clips of it in a documentary about humanity.
There is the discotech arcade where they have 20 or so X-Box 360s set up with Rock band, guitar hero, Ninja Gaiden II, Halo, and a couple of sports games. There is a stage set up there with full rock band gear and you can get up and play for the crowd. They have contests and shit.
Shopping Galore. Beads, Crytals, Clothes, Hats, shoes, trip toys, shouder bags, Make your own candles, there was a tent set up with a "spirit healer/Shamen", there was a Ferris Wheel, A burlesque Show, The silent Disco (everyone wears headphones), Mechanical Bull, Pyrotechnics show,Theater with couches and recliners, Yoga Classes, so and and so forth.
They also sold some strange food. There was a guy selling wild boar, Venison, Elk, Gator Tail, and fried Candy Bars.
Then there are the Bonnaroo Buskers. Those are people that dress up in costumes, some wildly outlandish, some made to look like characters from movies or TV shows. I saw some stilt walkers this year, and i also saw 3 guys dressed up like the Ghostbusters, last year I saw towelie from southpark. He did indeed want to get high.
Then outside centeroo, they have what is called "Shakedown Street" That's where you go to get your drugs from. It's also where you go to see all the vendors that were too poor to buy a vending pass. Lots of glass pipes and jewelry and clothes.
And of course there are random art exhibits. Like the hey and the yarn sculptures. Then there are these giant cacoons hangin in a tree near the Pyrotechnics show. Out around the tree, there are giant lightning bugs on poles with batteries and they really light up and all that stuff.
And that's all in addition to the 150+ comedy and music acts.
$240 for a ticket isn't a bad price at all is it?
or you can pay $900 for 2 vip passes and get free alcohol and food. You also don't have to wait in line for anything, and you get full backstage access to all shows. Nice huh?
