Hey Mo, your going to leave after all the fun we had the other night! What is wrong with you!! ^^

Just kidding. I can understand what your feeling. Playing an online game with real life friends is always great, and you shouldnt pass that up. Your going to have a lot of fun for sure. A lot of us will miss you, but hey, thats what this place is for. You can still come here and let us know how your doing. Those of us that know who you are from the game, we'll care, and appreciate it.

So do what makes you happy man, dont miss a good opritunity to hang out with your real life friends.
 
LEAVING FOR 4n07h3r MMORPG??? thats unacceptable! tho if you plan to leave give your stuff to the person you were closest too lol and watch the others envy... jk lol or am i? EQ2 = wtf
 
You can do a couple of things. This type of thing is not uncommon amoung the new arival of MMORPGS. Happend alot during my EQ times of who was going to Dark Ages of Camelot, Starwars Galaxies and so on. Ended up all playing like 2~3month then comming back to EQ.

I see the same effect with FFXI and the upcomming WoW and EQ2 (which is out now). I would say keep your characters. It won't be deleted for 3month. Its more than enough time to make your decision. If you truely want to continue EQ2 after 3month time, then you can give away or delete or do what ever you think its right.
 
Yeah I suppose putting my acct. on limbo might save me from much "ARGH WISH I DIDNT DO THAT" in a month or two. WoW is fun... -now- but it doesn't seem to have the kind of content that'll keep someone playing for a long time. Eventually it'll get old and I'll probably be back too :|...
 
Ok so one of my RL who has NEVER played FFXI but is a big fan of all the others, said that he wanted to try it out so......I'm gonna let him take mine and check it out.

He will be one of those "noobs" but he'll learn fast, he has watched me play it numerous times.

So I ask of this from you: please be nice to him and help him along in anyway you can.

I am gonna help him get started and he is gonna play the lower level jobs first so he can get the hang of it.

And I will still have access to the game.

Sound like a viable solution?

That was very nice of you for letting a friend take over yer account and trying it out. It still better than deleting it, right? No worries if i see him, i will help him out. So far i have never seen you in-game before, maybe it's cause of our time zone difference, when i am morning you're night and vice-versa.

Well my friend is currently at home installing as we speak and I think he nearly wet himself.

LOL too funny he is hardcore and so is his wife so they outta enjoy that stuff!

Anyway I will continue to wander around the boards like a mindless zombie so don't count me out.

Well, I don't want to come off sounding like I'm saying he *should* leave, but what's the point in paying every month just to keep a character alive in a game you're no longer interested in?
