I think he may be some sort of Gnoll, maybe a pack leader. I'm just speculating here. It'd make some sense if it was Jugner because only Gnolls roam around Jugner natively.

Now *that* is a very good point. Perhaps a god, worshipped by the Gnoles? It is said that the Gnoles are sentient...

well, basically.. There are already two duplicates. Fenrir and Diabolos. Yeah I know, avatar of darkness and avatar of dreams, thats if youre technical.

But I could see duplicated avatars being introduced, just give them better/different abilities, along with higher MP cost and perpetuation. All we have right now are elemental avatars, besides diabolos, it would be nice to get some of the different avatars. (even though many of them are introduced as HNM's, gods, WS, or are just tied into the story line, aka. bahamut, cerberus, kirin, phoenix, hydra, knights of the round, odin)

I know, and I didn't touch on it because I'd accepted it as common knowledge. Either way, Diabolos and Fenrir are different in that one is terrestrial, and one is a celestial avatar.

doesn't matter if it's summonable or not, we still have issues to be addressed

diabolos is dark based like fenrir only his bps are based on mostly buffs while fenrir is based on moonphase and offense with some buffs but fenrir is more balanced one could say.

Change chocobo dat! I did that with a few mobs, manticore, fenrir, etc.. Manticore is a bit too large to look like youre riding, though... You kind of sit inside its torso, lol.

Odin is the celestial avatar for dark, Fenrir and Diabolos are both terrestials, Diabolos being "of dreams" and Fenrir "of the future."

Actually, they are both guardians of the (pieces?) of mother crystal, so they are the same (terrestrial?), as is Carby, Pheonix, and Bahamut. There are only 6 Celestials, one for each of the elements excluding light and dark (my understanding from the storyline, they are the original "gods" of paradise, and I think Altana represents light and Promathia dark).
