Since you are only pulling in dynamis, you could go naked and get the same results; so bragging about how you don't have the best gear doesn't matter. If you actually ventured out of that one activity twice a week, you'd need better gear to keep up with other thf's. They all want to get better gear so they will be more effective at events that dont required them to shoot and run back so other people can kill the mobs.

Well baj, strictly speaking, peregrine is the worst puller i've ever had the displeasure of encountering in my life, You don't need to bash peregrine, his playing does that for you.

I am above gil. I haven't needed gil to supplement how I perform in a half a year. The difference between me and you is that you have to compensate your lack of worth by farming and wearing it.

i was the one in jeuno with my flag up LOL i lvled ranger on static only i never lvled ranger with you i went 60-75 in 1week half over the summer
o ya i might have lvled ranger with you when i was 40 and your right i did suck lol but try to make some actual points next time other then your above gil wtf are you talking about

Whats even better WSM is SH+1's last listed price is lower than SH last listed price. My personal favorite.
 
I just want to point out the Vermillion Cloak was @ 17 Million Gil, and the Nobles Tunic @ 20 Million, Thats very F#cked up.

Inflation is across the board. If you make money than nothing has changed in your buying power. If you buy gil then you are faced with spending more. If you are sitting on gil that is not invested in inflating materials or gear than you are losing money. There are support levels and ceilings on all non npc bought materials and gear. Those levels will continue to rise. There is nothing wrong with the economy because the buyers will dictate the prices - not the sellers. If it is too much don't buy it.

Especially great because I was like 800k from rebuying one when it doubled over the way it did. Oh well, at least I can use SH+Haub on BST still, too bad I can't put them too huge use.. ;-;
 
Its simple why prices of went up....Lack of items for a high demand..people recieve gil from friends for christmas and other buy gil with thier christmas money. So more people are going to be wanting to buy these expensive items when on average the same number are being sold. So when there is only one or two of these items on AH a day i.e. Hauby, people wanting to make a little more profit, boost the price 500k-1mil then people who dont want to wait for a lower priced one or just dont care about spending another mil on it just buy it causing the price to just keep on inflating. Prices have started to come down since the holidays which is a good sign.
 
I happen to have all of the whm tunics - not becuase I'm rich, but because I happened to plan ahead a bit. I too was crushed when I went to the AH to get my Noble's- going price had been 9m for months. I finally get my farming gil together (let's not ingore the MONTHS I did nothing but farm, no leveling, etc) and low and behold, the facking price is 12m. /cry. I borrowed 3m from my loving blm husband (who lives at the AH, I swear the man never levels) and buy it. 4 days later Nobles is going for over 22m. eeeep.

So what now? Many mad mad weeks of farming to pay hubby back. /more tears.

Want to talk conspiracy theory? The longer you spend farming = less time leveling = longer susbcription time to SE/POL. The winners in the end (because damn, don't gilsellers have to pay subscription costs too?) are named POL. They get the RL gil all ways, from the idiots who by the stuff in the AH and cause prices to go up because of inflated demand, from the regular subscribers like me that farm the hell outta whatever they can to make gil, and from the gilsellers.

I'd love to see a universal (all server) economic market crash <evil grin>
