I don't have screenshots since Windower won't work for me for some unknown reason, but all the same, the story goes a little something like this:
Now I'm not sure which is really worse to camp overall, since I've never tried to farm H.Q. Aern Organs, but I wasn't about to let Jamal's record compare to my own. But I didn't know Roc ToD...
Not too long after making the post above, my friend sends me an IM - "We're gonna camp Roc for you, need you to come help with the gate, ok?"
Awesome. Now I'll put Jamal in his place with that silly drop record of his.
We head out to camp - no one's in Sauromugue and only RMT are in Garlaige, humping Serket into submission no doubt, so we assume that there's no one camping Roc just yet unless some of the 13-so RMT in Garlaige were headed there as well. We get there forty minutes into window (our 4th person was busy getting Assault promotion done with) and sit around for a bit, getting TP. Ten minutes later Roc pops, so we happily go about wailing on it. Wasn't terribly sure how well we'd do with just 4, but it turns out that a BLU and THF were well more than enough to down Roc is less than 10 minutes .
But then my world crashes down on me. "You find a Dryad Staff on Roc". What the hell? This isn't supposed to happen, I have a reputation to keep. What am I supposed to whine about now? Noble Mold and it's 0/2 (damn you to hell)?
I digress...I'm now 1/17. And I want to send out my greatest thanks to my assault static - Masa, Klank and Naibara. You're all dorks, but then that's just calling the kettle black here - obviously couldn't have managed this without you guys today. I'm proud to have friends like you, who were able to down Roc in less than ten minutes in spite of one of you having not even fought him before so not terribly knowing what to expect. Especially impressed that Naib was capable of throwing out spells that did up to 1500 damage, which helped down Roc especially fast.
I also want to send out my thanks to Myrrh, Rappa, Audino, Svina, Necrosis, Mara, Lenneth, Neosquall, Tidy, Zaltana, Ikari, and the many people at Flock who have helped me with this turd in the past so many times. Our effort finally paid off! ^^
Sorry to anyone who hoped for a free ToD - I already promised a few people who have helped me in the past that they'd get first priority should this day ever arise. =P
