Movie James Cameron's 'Avatar'

I was very impressed by James Cameron's Avatar, which by the way was written by James Cameron, and Produced by James Cameron. Saw it in Regular D though since everything was sold out, i thought the movie was amazing

I think my favorite part about the movie was how much expression Neytiri had :) Everything seemed so real.

I also loved Pandora and how much of a visual delight it was. I would see this again in the movies, for sure.

3D is the way to go :)

THIS! Oh my god, I went to see this yesterday and I was absolutely speechless the entire way through. I loved every minute of this cinematic masterpiece.

I wouldn't exactly call this a movie any more to be honest, I'd prefer to call it an experience.

I'm probably gonna try to see it a 2nd time. 3D isn't enough, needs moar imax. O_O

Was very typical James Cameron love story and writing. Great visuals though as expected.

Automatically the best 3D movie ever made. I wouldn't be surprised if it surpasses 1 billion G's in the box office and breaks Spidermans record.

Friend of mine already went to see it 3 times. When things simmer down I'm going to return to this flick at least once more before it leaves theaters. Nothing beats seeing this movie on a giant screen in 3D.

Oh man, another thing I loved about this experience was the soundtrack. Surprisingly, I found out that the Main Theme was by someone who I really dislike, Leona Lewis. Believe it or not, I'll let her off this time because the song actually sounds like there was real effort put into it this time, it's an enjoyable song to go along with an unforgettable experience, it actually fits with the emotions portrayed in this epic piece of cinema. So, I guess I finally found a Leona Lewis song that is actually good.

I don't know, I always thought this one was really good:

Just saw it last night in 3D and I'm still blown away. It's rare that I don't want a movie to end.. and I wanted to see much, much more of this!
The best thing about this movie is Pandora. You can see where all the money they put into this went! The flora and fauna was so amazing and so lifelike, I almost forgot that what I was seeing was animation. If you haven't seen this yet, GO AND SEE IT :D In 3D for sure!

This movie was an experience. Man, Cameron's attention to detail is astounding. He doesn't let nothing slip, biological, scientific, etc. The reasoning behind their bone structure. The Computers in the back ground, just everything.

Actually, there was one majour biological goofup I noticed. All the fauna on Pandora clearly had a common ancestry, as evidenced by their common link-appendage things, and he showed the different evolutionary path compared to Earthlings, for one, by the default on Pandora being 6 limbs - the terrestrial fauna all had two pairs of forelegs, and the avians shown (the Wraiths) had two pairs of wings alongside feet.

However, Na'vi had only four limbs. Oops.

It probably would've been too expensive to animate & use said limbs.

I'd noticed this as well, but it also would have been weird for the 4-limbed people to immedately be able to control a 6-limbed person so it was just more convenient and definitely cheaper.

Finally saw this last night.

What. An. Experience.

Phenomenal movie. Phenomenal story. I fell in love with the idea, and that is the idea.

The creatures of Pandora struck very familiar resemblances to some of our creatures.

I saw wolves, a panther, rhinoceros/hammerhead >.>

Spectacular visual present.

LOL when I saw the movie I had thought it seemed similar to the Europeans coming over to the Americas originally, but I didn't think to pair it with Disney's Pocahontas!

There are SO many stories you can cut and paste like that it's sad that Avatar is getting so much shit for it.

Originality is overrated, just about any possible structure for a story has been told at least once by now.

people wouldn't give so much shit about it if Avatar wasn't being praised as "most original movie ever!" or whatnot. I dunno, still seems like a good movie even if not original. That's fine by me.

This movie was incredible. I saw this today in 3D and it was by far my greatest movie experience. I am going to see it tomorrow with some friends who have not seen it yet lol.

I saw this movie twice, once in Digital 3D, once in IMAX 3D. This movie was absolutely amazing, i could not believe it. And, how many movies do you go to see that when its over people stand up and clap? It would have to be pretty awesome for a majority of people to do that.
If you havent seen this movie already go see it! (Digital 3D or IMAX 3D recommended over 2D version)

Which 3D is better? o.o not sure what's better, Real D 3D or Imax 3D or Digital 3D. And I still never get clapping for a movie, no one involved is there to hear your applause so it goes to waste XD ah well
