I think we need a new section on qcdn where he's the mod, so people can go to see what he thinks is right, so they can do the opposite. That party as do 85% of the party i melee in rocked, yes.
The reason i meleed is because
A. i was the leader and chose jobs that were online seeking that made it able for me to melee

B. We were fighting colibri

Dont get me wrong guys i KNOW i can get better exp/h in a setup of 4xwar brd and me or blu x 4 me and brd , ect
But for gods sake its not always pos to get partys like that because the jobs that are seeking doesn't make it pos.
So i do what i can with whats online. I admit that if i cant get a fast exp/h party ill get one that i can melee in on clolibri WHILE keeping up with all hastes and refreshs and split healing. Dam a good pld in nysle isl can near enough mainheal himself with autorefresh sanction and refresh so im doing more good meleeing and doijng 50 a hit with 15-18 enspells and 500 ws than standing back like a waste of party space.
And let me tell u, i out parse any DDs DOT without a good high ws that are half stepping and are not up to scratch gear wise. Its the speed of melee with blau/joy thats the killer so by the time a drk has swung twice with a scythe ive gone 3 rounds of 2-3 hits + enspells. AND im wsing about the same time. Faster if i did not have to cast spells.
As for lol nuking over melee on colibri, we will leave that to your commen sense shall we.
My dagger is @ 266 sword is @ 266 sushi puts me over 90% acc i have 10% haste + suppa with 15% from haste. i also have p bady and full crit merits and a gear swap for evescration.
This is not a lets let rdm melee debate, its a meripo rdm melee on colibi statement. IT IS BETTER if you cant get a better party with whats on at the time.
Hope i see anyone on forum that wants to party with me and hope to see you soon ruffy because 4 x blu rdm and blu on a free camp on colibris is THE best exp ive ever gotten. and guess what... I meleed in that one too. lol

I'm not saying theres anything wrong with only having done up to the kirin thing. I have problems with people like him talking out his ass about shit that he's clearly has no true knowledge or experience on. If someone made a thread on ultima help, he'd weigh in on advise even though I'm willing to bet he's never stepped foot into Sea.

I will never invite you to a party. You will be just adding TP to the mob and causing me to be taking more damage using more MP than needed.

The partys i roll with in meriipo mp is never an issue with healing. Even WITH the extra tp from me.
Are you scared of pecking furry?

I can think of exactly one time a bard should melee in a party, and that is: The poor sonuvabitch forgot one of his two staves in the MH (either light or earth) and has gotten whacked with enough AoE moves to have 100 tp. At this point, the bard should engage, bust out his WS (making sure not to fuck an SC if one is present) make some grandious statement about how much ass he kicks, everyone has a good laugh, and the bard subsequently disengages and gets back to playing with his flute like a good lil troubador.

Aside from that, knives are for thieves, staves should never be played with in presence of others, and swords... lolswords. Leave that shit to the BLUs. Don't melee Bards.

Or you could, ya'know, stick to the backline part of being a Red Mage and nuke, not give the mob TP, and probably out-parse your meleeing counterpart. In fact, a good Red Mage shouldn't have enough room to carry a full-blown TPing set, let alone a WS set in addition to their normal gear.

I like how you called us all idiots, then agreed with us.. You really do hang around ruffy don't you? So you say you can out parse any dmg melee with gear as long as they don't ws? I'm calling bs on this one, a ninja could do better then you in a merit party dmg wise. Quieren i was referring to the way ruffy explained the situation on how i was able to melee given the mobs and the setup and the first thing you guys do is derail and start saying its impossable for a rdm to melee ANYWHERE without reducing the exp/h. Why do this?

As for bs. well come and merit for a bit with me. See how mind blowing a haste and acc setup with a multi attack weapon is with a damage bounus on it. Christ i was in a party yesturday with 2 x brds i went rdm/blu. I had attack acc haste x2 from the bards and haste from my self with enspells. I took hate quite a few time off the nin monk and drk with dot, they all had same buffs. it was like a kracken club on crack. they only got hate with voke or wsing.So come party. Then you can call BS.
