Great pictures! Langly and myself are visiting there for two weeks this summer and seeing the pictures just got me even more excited.
Any specific recommendations on where to go or what to see?
Thank you all!!
I recommend the Peace Museum!! Everyone in the world needs to visit it just once. I admit it... I cried when I went through it. But still go!!
I also recommend getting a JR or (Japan Railway) pass that gives you unlimited use of any JR line in the country. Ours was 28,300Yen... and it was 116Yen for 1 US dollar... Valid for 7 days. I might be wrong but I think it also gives you a discount on the bullet train.
The Toyota Museum in Nagoya is pretty cool too... Lots of varieties of cars both new and old... Its really neat..
I wanted to go to the Nagoya Castle but we spent too much time at the Toyota Museum. (I will have some pictures up of the Toyota museum shortly).
Hmm... I love Tokyo! I have never seen a place like that before...(Kentucky girl >.>) so just explore till your heart is content. I never once felt unsafe in Tokyo or anywhere in Japan... I lock my doors at my house which I live in a town of about 900....
Ooooh... we went to a PCB detox. plant!! XD PCBs or polychlorinated byphenyls were used in transformers and as industrial lubricants because they are very resistent to high temperatures and they never degrade. Dr. Loganathan doesn't even know of one of these in the United States!!! So I feel very honored to have the oppertunity to visit and tour this place.... Though you might have a hard time getting the full tour! XD
Toyama is a great city. We visited the university of there and I had a lot of fun with the students from there. Lol one girl said I hogged all the japanese boys because I like "boy anime"!!!
We didn't get to do much in Kyoto and Osaka... we really just passed through these cities and visited some labs and such.... so i don't have many pictures of here.
Oh...I did get a hello kitty cellphone strap of Kitty dressed in a godzilla outfit climbing the Tokyo tower!! XD so that was the only "monster" i saw
As for my camera its an "old skool" one.. I actually used film on the trip!!! XD I was the only one

Everyone else used digital cameras >.> Its a Kodak advantex camera thing... I don't remember the exact model lol
