Why?

The JP AND ONLY JP get to have a server wide Ballista tourney.

WTF.

Why can't NA have a server wide tournament? That would be sweet to own people from other servers, and even people that migrated to Hades.
 
How do you know were not going to get one? I would imagine that they want to make sure that the format works before others try it.

That's a good idea, but considering they have done other things for JP only, I wouldn't put it past them.

Dude, its Japanese game owned by Japanese people. Of course they will get everything first. America gets a lot of American made stuff way before any other country does. I see nothing wrong with this as long as we get the same thing later on.

I know that, but I dont think its really fair to call them "racist fags" because if they were really as racist as you say, FFXI wouldnt be in America.

lol np, I got mad at first too when iread it was JP only, but then I figured that a all NA Ballista Tournament would be better cause you could taunt your oppents =P (or make lame excuses like I do when I get beaten in ballista)
 
all servers means i can play on my real character and show all your asses how the game is played :O

Seriously, I can't wait for this to come to both sides of the ocean. Sounds hella fun. I play a lot of ballista, I don't know if I'm that good but I really enjoy it, hope to see you on the battlefield. :D
 
It would rule if it was a server tournament where each person is pited in a same server PT againts another server and the winnders advance and stuff. Who knows, that could bring Our server closer together if we are all fighinng to win.

Probably a huge technical issue as to why the rest of the world wont get it. Easy to do something when its all local, and a limited number of players.

Very differnt when you got millions of people trying to play the same game.

Unfair for us yes. A nice expierement for SE with maybe future ramifications yes. Maybe we'll get something like this in another game.
 
Dark, read Garvin's post, and everyone stop being whiney, if you look on the NA POL website, there is an entry saying that NA are getting it too dated 04/22/05.

I however have every right to bitch at all you NA because there's no entry about it on the EU POL website :P

Anyways, I dont see why you guys still bitch when JPs get to try things before NA. Look at WoW... Most of the people they chose to beta test and try new content are Americans. The WoW servers are in America as well, with Korea being a special case because of the heavy fanbase in Korea. Dont you guys realize yet? SQUAREENIX IS JAPANESE, of course they will let their own people try the new content first.

as it is right now.. US Dollar > all currency (as in it has more value.. it's what the business world uses through-out the world) so.. ya.. but the Euro is becoming a stronger currency as well and might replace the US dollar cause our government is stupid.. letting us go into more debt as a nation only devalues our currency.... stupid government....

ANYWAYS... it'll come to NA and EU and whatnot.. and all I care about.. is that hopefully it'll mean less competition for the land gods :D though I doubt it...
