the Euro is not greater than the dollar.. more stable at the present time but the dollar is the currency of choice for the business world. Therefore Dollar > Euro. Another thing.. if one of those european nations goes into a depression, then the euro will get more unstable. It'll only take 1 nation to fail for the entire system to go down. How is the Euro > Dollar?

The Euro is: The MOST common form of currency.
Holds the MOST value of any currency.
The HARDEST form of currency in the world to forge.

There Economy is more stable than ours so the Euro will continue to up its value and worth while the U.S. dollar remains the same. There nations have a higher chance to suceed economically or never have a depression while the U.S. continues its downward spiral and remains trivial. I deal with all types of money day in and day out and people prefer the Euro that I deal with in most any country. This little argument you made here striked me as misleading so I took the route of asking my boss and needless to say...he said this, "Anyone who thinks U.S. Dollar is better than the Euro needs to take a good second glance at the economy today." This is comming from a construction managment firm president who heads a company that does worldwide trade and building among other things...

The only thing I personally know is this. I, when I sell things on E-bay etc, sell for the Euro I will not accept USD. My friends in Sweden, money wise, have it way better than anyone I know in the U.S. and they are only Upper-Middle Class.

So How can US $ > Euro ? Set aside your pride for the U.S. use simple logics instead of trying to thumb through economics and think about this. Book smart can only take you so far and also can blind you from the truth.
