Japanese community website

It's a community of 99% Japanese people, and 1% Native English speakers. You need to have quite a bit of knowlege of Japanese, because you can't run the site translated, plus you need to know how to navigate.

It's not associated with FFXI, but I've come across a few people that play, and there are a few community groups for FFXI, as well as Learning English, sports, movies, ect.

It's really nice if you can understand it. I've made quite a few friends here, and almost everyone is studying English. I'm learning more Japanese from just talking to people that happen to read my diary or such.

I figured I'd post this since there might be someone who would be interesting in something like this. I just hope that no one will join and abuse it, because this is an important website to me, and I'm sure for the members that play FFXI, it can help to form a better relationship between NA/JP players.

I'm just gunna say screw learning japanese for me, had too much of a hard time with spanish. Just gunna stay with what i know. So is this site like a Japanese version of Friendster, myspace, xanga etc.?

Yeah, probably a lot more like Myspace. But it's a real nice community, I've made friends just from them reading my journal, and commenting on my Japanese! Heh.

Just wish the FFXI JP community was that nice ya know with the MPKing HMN LSs and being GM favorites etc.

Actually, there is a very small percentage of "Bad" JP Players, most of them hate RMT, MPK, ect. They find LS's like "HNMPT" to be disgraceful. And it's not their fault they might be "GM favorites" 'cause I've talked to them about it before, and they had no idea how crappy English GM's are.

There are a few FFXI communities on Mixi, but I haven't gone through them, though I might to look for some friends.
