King Ranpere's Tomb...half a dozen skeletons in and i have had two songs on me...Army'sPaeon once....and ballad, fucking ballad...its not like i mosey'd on over to the mage camp...no no, this fucking kid...words fail me right now. I did get minuet once...one minuet...ONE minuet. Not stacked, not coupled with accuracy, a lonley minuet...what gawdamned bard plays one fucking song?

Then he pulls a skeleton...and as we're fighting that one he pulls another. I'd say he failed to sleep it, but you have to try to sleep it in order to fail. One monk dies...another calls for help...blm dies...Javier either logs or "dc's"

i dont know if these other guys post here or read this, but they can confirm the story. My 1st official flame, never cared much to call someone out, but this was disgusting. So dont get excited when you see him lfg, dont be thrilled to see this brd seeking. Dont rush to invite him. You're better off with 5 fucking people. If there's any questions, i'll come back in a bit and post, fucking swear more, threaten, whatever the fuck you flameboard junkies want...

I'm sorry you had such a bad experiance. Not all brds are horrible tho. Hope you have better luck in your next party.

Seriously, Iso sounds pretty awful. Sorry you had just a bad time. I find that crappy bards and red mages are depressing because it seems like there's never one seeking when you're looking to form a party (despite the number of rdm out there), and there's only a handful that are really good at what they do. I hope you have better luck next time.

I don't get why Bards suck. The hardest part is getting distance down, which after level 10 was pretty easy to do. Hell, even for those who can't do it can now even cheat using the windower to tell them exactly how far away they are. Stupid bards... ; ;

Seibu's a good BLM XD That BRD, however, sounds like total crap. Pulling with Lullaby mid-fight? If it were a 74/75 MNK cannon that'd make sense but then the group would be moving anyways, and at 70 that's just stupidity.

that if he made it to lvl 10 he prob 1 them people that got power lvled all the way to 50 so what he did in battle didnt matter. Though with a job bard you have little choice to invite them unless you want invite rdm:wink:
 
Just in Javier's defense, he just got back from a ~4-5 month break from the game. He's still got a few KINKS to work out I'm sure. Did you ask him to get you minuet? Also, sometimes you can reposition yourself out of the area if bards are making mistakes.
 
this is complete bullshit. Bard is so fucking easy (at least at level 32ish) it just takes half a brain to do the same thing over and over again. Sure you might mess up every once in a while, but w/e its easy to fix, just sing more songs. And, if you are fighting something, you def. dont want to have to pay attention to what the bard is doing and move accordingly. That is probably the dumbest thing i have ever heard. Thats like watching the rdm all the time and telling him when he needs to refresh, or telling the tank when to voke. maybe in the dunes, but just no. NO.
