It's that time of year again! The JDRF Walk is September 20th, and once again I will be participating. Last year I managed to raise over $300 for diabetes research in large part due to the generous contributions of many QCDN members. This year I've set a personal goal of $500 raised for the walk.

If you would like to help the JDRF, you can donate over the web at http://walk.jdrf.org/index.cfm?fuseaction=extranet.personalpage&confirmid=87374871 or even register for a walk in your own area. I know that it can be hard to find extra money for many of us in the current economy, but even the smallest donations can add up quickly. Together we can help the fight to find a cure.

Ah cool...although where I live in Sarasota, FL it is usually in March D:

Where is your walk taking place? Always glad to see JDRF walks doing well and appreciate it as a type 1 Diabetic for the last 10 years. Stem cells need to go ahead and cure this shit...I'm tired of this daily routine already, and I'm only 22 >.>

I'm doing the walk at Byrd Park in Richmond, VA. This will be my second year doing it, I had a real blast last year. Here's a picture from last year that I took with some guys of the 501st legion who were there.

I'm not sure the kids knew what to make of it to be honest, lol.

The walk is this Sunday, so it's literally your last chance to donate. ;)
