Ok so yesterday i did promy mea for the 13th times cuz i wanna see the new areas.Marajade as asking for war/nin and summons so i got in as my war/nin cap 30.We went up to the spire together and everytime meiki got hate or jedimind i voked cuz like most tanks ,the way i was suppose to. In a way i saved their lives cuz their low defense and weak club cant keep them alive,for more than afew second.I died while getting to the spire once.Then we got ready and descussed a plan and entered battle.Unfortunately,a single aoe wiped out 3 of us and only two of us (meiki i think and threshould) were able to run outside.So we tried again
and after a while another aoe wiped us out.So we had our 2hrs left and decided to go in again .But when we entered bcnm and after 3 4 mins i didnt notice that the whm (Jedimind) and the blm (mieki) or (meiki) were outside.And someone said this is gonna be easy so i used my kabob and after seeing full mp ran into the nm.I had school the next day and was sleepy so i wasnt focusing and cuz of my fault everyone else escaped battle except meiki and she died.I died 3 times total she died once or twice.
Now
she said "Wolf there is not way u can get a warp from me unless u pay 5k gil otherwise u can walk home".
I didnt have 5k so i said
"i am sleepy and i have school tommorrow...."
and she said
"500gil is the going rate".

Now to test her i said
"No way i'm gonna pay.." (cuz wtf dude i was with u three battles and ur saying soemthing as cheap as that to me??).
And that mithra logged and luckily i had my warp cudgal with 6 hrs time left on it to recharge.I was talking to my friend about how retarded some ppl are and also to another guy in the same party (I'd rather not mention the name),and suddenly meiki logs back on expecting for me to be dead.So she told me to raise my flag and i died but after she warped her self saying "Jedi wins ... see u later"
Now all of you tell me that i'm crazy and i cant type and i MPK then wtf was that?? like a blm wont warp me from damn promy cuz she died once cuz of my mistake ( I was sleepy as hell).Trust me i've been in situations where a whm fell asleep and i died but i never hesitated to voke when he got hate from healing,just because i diead because he wasnt in the best of his mind.
Next thing i know meiki says "We were deciding weather or not to warp u but jedi wins .... so i warped".
Explain this behaviour of ppl to me.... and lol i'm sure some or maybe most of u are gonna go posting blindly against me but still i feel like i need an explaination for such behaviour.Also i hope one day they are left to deathwarp in a place like spire of promy mea.
 
Ah come on wtf that was a ass BLM ive died more than that and i dont give a shit about it. I give waprs no matter what even if ther person was a ass to me. Im not saying you were a ass you are not at all as ass from what it sounds the BLM was a idiot.

Its just a game in my eyes not life or death some people see it the other away around.... I die so what if i loose 1k+ exp.

Wait a second, you're currently 0/15 on Mea? (counting your 2 fails on the NM as #14 and #15)

Maybe this is a hint that perhaps you don't really deserve to make it through to Lufaise. Or you could hire Svina and 4 others to mercenary your way through, I don't know. But hell, they've nerfed Promyvion at least 2, maybe 3 times since it started and you're still losing. Maybe there are bigger problems here.

lol That is one way of putting it. So far I am 0/1, and that was way back before it was nerfed. Plus, I tried doing Mea as the first one, and we totally sucked it up.
 
In comparison, my Promyvion group won Dem and Mea first try and was 1/2 on Holla. We lost the first fight due to the NM using Trinity Absorption 20 times (this is not hyperbole, it was spamming it every 10 seconds or so) and doing its AOE Sleep/Curse/Whatever right as I had Titan use his last Astral Flow opportunity. We went back in, all of us save the WHM without our 2-hours (it was something like 3:30 AM at the time) and we won. They're really not THAT hard, even without 2-hours or animas as long as you have an experienced group and a pre-planned strategy that you STICK TO THROUGHOUT.
 
Im 1/1 on Dem and Mea and 1/2 on Holla... this was pre-nerfs =P

I thought the whole thing was real fun, but I definitely wont do it again for awhile... too much of a hassle to buy all that gear and items, then sell it all back.
 
This is sad.... I mean.... how? Anyway, you were at a crag, big fuckin whoop if you couldn't get a D2, it's the blm's choice anyway. Suck it up and grab a chocobo. And wtf is the deal with the LMAOs every other line?
 
Man, when we did the Spire of Holla fight we were expecting to have a loss at least once, so we decided to have a practice fight, no animas, no 2hr, I as the WHM brought a reraise scroll as only 6 of us went up and all entered the Web of Recollections. Anyways we get the NM down to 30% HP and we're all in the white so I went in and used my Psychoanima, and we just brought it down.

First time i met Vang in game back then, and hes really nice while partying for non-exp.
 
Did Holla once, prior to nerfs. Ate shit at the boss fight with a party of 5. :lol:

U cant get a chocobo at the top in the spire... narell.And i'm 1/1 on dem and 1/1 holla.... the mea nm goes crazy and starts spamming aoes and one aoe almost takes off 90 percent hp of a war with defender .I think blms who are not gonna warp u if u need one at a place like spire... should put that in their comment.No offense but it should me in the comment so i can atleast grab a warp scroll or decline their invite..GOnna try war/nin war/nin rng/nin rng/nin summon and whm this time.
I'm in school right now so when i get home i can warp back since my warp cudgal would be charged.
 
Ive done BCNM's with jedimind and hes always been a great guy. I think the real problem here is that promys are frustrating as all hell and whatever else happened (lateness of the hour, excessive deaths, only half a pt going into the bcnm battle) that its not up to the warp-ee to tell the warp-er what to do. Yes, they have warp. Do they have to use it on you for your convienience? No, they dont. It's polite, especially if you've shared a party to help the other members get back, but demanding it is worse, and flaming about demanding it and not getting it is worse still. People tend to forget or overlook that fact when demanding their Raises, warps, teles etc. Just because someone can do it, doesnt mean they have the time, the patience, or the interest in helping you out. I've run across zones to raise people, and i've raised people in direct competition with my group for mobs. Not because I have to, but because they asked nicely. What i'm trying to get across here is getting a free ride home is not your right as a member of that group. A blm doesnt need Warp II to lvl or get in pt's, its not their job to make sure you have a ride home.

Also, up yours gilsellers. I'll get raise III when I can bcnm it. 1.65 Mil on quez last I looked. Happily I have 12 lvls before I can use it.
And for those who are missing the obvious, Raise is not a Right either. I'll raise my pt and LS and anyone I can... but theres a reason any whm not looking for a pt invite is /anon from qufim on, namely people thinking its my job to hike 4 zones away to save them 300xp, when my pt is in the other direction waiting.
 
Dude 1 or 2 Terro animas help in mea, imagine having 6, youll fuck that shit up bad. Btw even PLD are supposed to kite that one, that anima is a huge help doing that since the NM will go ape running in circles like a chicken that got its head chopped off.
 
Yeh this time gonna go in with 3 animas each person.Btw i noticed some mistakes on my post when i re-read it. "She told me to raise my flag and i died" thas a "did".Some not s are suppose to be "no".i have 6 hi potions and one of those x potions too now.
 
I think the attempt to go in iwthout 5k gil is the real problem. If you're that poor you obviously had crap gear and no items. I don't bring my SMN to a BC like that without a 29k super ether so I can do double fenrir 2h and heal during the minute in between and it's still a challenge.
 
yeah, a good promyvion is no different from a good bcnm. you should spend quite a bit of gil on this. since it's only one shot, buy more than you need, you can sell back anything you have left after you win, you shouldn't lose because you were too cheap to get the items.
 
I had 2k left after buying 6 potions and one x potion.BUying a cross bow and 4 stacks of bolts.Buying my leg armor again and buying a stack of chief kabobs n half of them i gave away for free.The stuff at MH takes a while to sell it doesnt mean i had crappy gear.I had the centurion set with plant bane gaxe.

heck, take it seriously, the super ether isn't that bad, Milenko, gods bless his samurai soul, actually splurged and bought the entire party vile elixir +1's... except me of course because my mp then my 2-hour lasts to the point where we're either dead or victorious anyways.
