Hey Y'all!

I haven't been around as much lately, as this year has already been UBER busy...I am the kind of person who LIKES to be busy, because I have little to no attention span otherwise...but it has been a tad CRAZY so far - Got engaged, got a wisdom tooth pulled, working full time (New Years Resolution season at the gym is no freaking JOKE :shok: ) and have been rehearsing 2 shows which open next weekend:

In MISTRESS I play Monica Lewinsky :wacko: I was cast as badass Cleopatra, but as we were writing the script, I ended writing some really funny Monica monologues, and the girl playing her dropped out sooo - I am now the "comedy relief" - and they cut Cleopatra out completely.

and another original script (sort of silly/B-movie-ish)

That's me as Carrie....can't wait to bathe in pig blood every weekend for 2 monthes....

Landless Theatre Company Special Rates (in honor of Valentine's Day,Groundhog Day, Presidents Day, and Mardi Gras)!

LTC is offering TWO original shows for the price of flowers and a box of chocolates!

For just $25 you can see "Mistress" (7:30pm) and "Carrie Potter & the Half-Blood Prom" (10pm) together for a Double Hitter of comedy and drama. This limited offering is a discounted rate and subject to availability on the night of the production.

Bring this email with you to DCAC (2438 18th Street in Adams Morgan) by 7:15pm on Fridays or Saturdays in February/March and indicate that you want to purchase tickets for both shows that evening. Pay the $25/person at the box office, and you can get in to see both productions with a short intermission between them to allow you to visit the DCAC art gallery or check out the night life!
