Job Guides

[Sculli]

I know there are a bazillion job guides out there, and some of them are certainly excellent, but I figure to create this sticky to point out guides that were written by QCDN comminuty members.

The benefit is that QCDNers can actually discuss the guides with those who wrote them, and perhaps improve where possible.

If you wrote a guide that is not included there, please leave a note below, or PM me or one of the mods and we will add it to this post.

Firestreak's Guide to Playing Blackmage
Firestreak's Advanced Guide to Playing Paladin
Firestreak's Guide to Main Healing

Edit: 05/11/05 - links fixed, transfer from phpbb2 to vb3 had changed the post ID values

Sculli, is it ok to request a Guide here? I'd like to see a guide for BRD, it seems so simple, but I know theres nuances.

I haven't been able to find a place that explains my Ranged Attack Status... Rng52 atm and I know the Equipment screen lets you look at your Attack and Defense status.. how can I find out my Ranged Attack?

[CmdrFly]

Take the skill level of your equipped ranged weapon, add in any Attack Bonus traits you might have (from /war for example), and add in any +r.atk from equipment.

If you're looking for a window that will give you a precise number for r.atk, acc, or r.acc, it doesn't exist.
