No, seriously not April Fools. The guy is a friend on the Message Board and I talked to him recently. He's a programmer not known for his outlandish humor and definitely isn't known with sticking to anything for this long. This really happened, dude.

Well, I'd say the guy is a dick in the first place for pulling that shit on McCain's myspace, but if there's any truth to it and McCain had any part of the retribution then it's really quite fucked up. Conservatives are supposed to support the constitution and the ideals of freedom of expression.

Seems like an April Fools to me though.
 
Why would he care if it was on his myspace? It seems it'll be getting lots of hits just to check it out? You can't buy that kinda advertisement! :P (advertising his politics and whatnot). Somehow I see this backfiring as a prank and more aiding John McCain's popularity.

Well, he did say "supposed."
