JP no longer cast lots?

I noticed that in my JP PT's, the members no longer cast lots? When I first started out they all cast lots on dropped items.

Did they stop because NA's bitch too much when they cast lots?

JP stopped, gladly, after SE fixed the bug where items were lost when being auto distrubted on people with full inventories if no one lotted. Use to see lots of stuff lost because people didn't have room in there inventory, so the JP saw that as reason to lot. Now that its fixed, I haven't had a single exp party lot common drops. That's my take on it.

I haven't had as many JP parties recently, but I noticed that too. Casting lots never really bothered me before, as long as everyone did it. While it really seemed to piss some people off for some reason, it really wouldn't be fair to them if they had to change something minor like that to appease the NA players.

Why do people bitch about lotting?


Ok, heres how it works.

When you don't choose to lot and let it "fall" the server casts a lot for each member and gives it to the person with the highest lot. so basically if you don't lot your just waiting a little and then you lot anyways.

In a party that is chaining for 5k/hr, lotting is distracting, time-wasting (and creates a huge block of spams every 2 min).

Yeah, I guess that makes sense.
I would only lot on things I wanted and are uncommn, I owuld let everything else fall.
And most parties I have can just about pull 2k an hour. ; ;
