I have the macro for Dynamis reasons as well. I'll get Bio II after I get back from Daytona. Bought tickets for my dad and I. He loves it, I personally, don't really care.

Back on topic. I'll have to keep the Bio Dia thing in mind for which kind of tank, makes perfect sense. Just hope the WHM doesn't bitch...
 
If the WHM bitches, let them cast Dia II, then cast Bio I. It won't override, and the mob gains both effects.

Doesn't gain both. Only one should wear off. The initial damage hits but it won't wear (assuming you cast bio I after Dia II).
 
They all overwrite each other. Bio <-> Dia and Dia II <-> Bio II.

I've never had a pld complain about taking too little damage, but its certainly possible considering that the pld needs to take damage to tank. I was leveling primarily before the squishy weak hitting mobs of ToAU so i'm sure times have greatly changed.

Bio II is also really good if you have to pull, because it can just be overwritten when it gets to camp, and if you get hit while pulling it takes off a pretty good chunk of damage you would have gotten.

It takes a bit of MP, but its not hard to get one round of refresh to make it all up.
 
Why just just pull with poison since it would be getting overwritten anyway. Or is that to level up Dark magic?

Bio has a faster casting time (not Bio II). However, I always pull with Poison regardless, as it's a cheap way to skillup Enfeebling Magic.

The better question is why is the Dark Knight pulling, instead of a Ranger, Corsair, Thief, Samurai, or a Bard? :spiteful:
 
Idk, ask the dancer. That was the only other puller we had in my second last exp party... and then next party I get both a thf and a ranger.

A whoping 65. Yes, I know I shouldn't. Though my friend (leader of the shell) doesn't mind. As it is. I'm still not going since I PERSONALLY don't want to hinder their outcome.
 
You wouldn't really hinder it unless they have someone to rep you. You will not do any damage being you will never hit the mob. Go level to 73 at the least then start end game.
