JP players....

He didn't say the hidden truth that JP >> Other asians >> Americans ; ; He left the first part out so that you didn't /cry and disband ^^

Im not trying to generalize, this is pretty funny imo lol. The girl i used to date for 4 yrs she was Korean. We had a really good relationship, but there was this 1 problem. If many of you guys know or not know, my ethnic backround consists of African American / Dominican(If you would look at me, i look more hispanic though). Now everytime i went to go see her parents they would always give me like this dirty look.... especially her father. One day i asked her whats up with her parents, she surprisingly said "My parents dont like black people" O.o lol i felt sad at first, but then it became more of humour. Everytime i would see her dad, I would yell "Whats up pops!!!" rofl. Playing the role, of a steriotypical black man.

Americans >> other asians >> JP in the bedroom, so it all balances out in the end.

I've had 0 bad experiences with JP players, other than turned down invites due to language barrier. If you can get past that, you're golden.

i have communicated with a JP about this subject before.. its not really bout the gil selling and buying.. but they said that some of us NA players suck and dont know how to play a job right.. always tryin to play hero in a party and tryin to show off how many dmg u can make...

ie.. BLM's using too strong of a spell.. or RNG keep spamming ranged attack and not use it consideratly...

which causes a party... Death...

atleast i have a bigger penis

#%)%#)(#%*#$@)%(()#$%#<------Jap for small penis

Perdition, you need to change your avatar, it's WAY too big.

In reply to what Davio said, my family is exact same thing, anything not Asian=bad.

I know other Asian players that play FFXI such as Taiwanese and Chinese, people from Hong Kong...Singapore, ect; (NOT GILSELLERS, omg...please stop calling *all* Chinese people gilsellers, some are good palyers.) ^_^ They all use the English version though and their English is better than Japanese players I gotta' say that.

Very few Japanese players can speak English, thus communication barrier, and most NA players suck in their eyes...therefore JP ONLY.

Doesn't it feel more comfortable to be with players that speak the same language and come from the same culture?

{I don't speak English.} {I don't speak Japanese}
{Chocobo} {I can speak little.} Qweeee~
{Chocobo} PT ONLY

Davio...LOL!! I know exactly how that goes, being half hispanic and half armenian...... you can see how the whole dating thing would go (it wouldnt). Armenians kind of have a JP mentality on racial superiority. Props for having the balls to say that to her dad, lol......Korean ppl scare me.

Seriously though, like i think Lyrai said, a lot of the NA players are young teens and I find them offensive being so obnoxious and demanding. I broke down and decided to PL a young BLM after she kept asking to PT with my lvl9 WHM. While I was running to town to change jobs, she sent me a tell to "hurry up." . . .wtf? Come on ppl, how can u expect other cultures to treat you when you're going to act like immature little phucktards? Sure, the JP can be a smidge presumptuous in just grouping everyone together, but you're just reinforcing their beliefs. You wanna beat them, then mature and outclass em. Don't do things out of "spit" :P 8)

Oh, one other thing I'd like to point out, because English isn't a Japanese person's first language, they don't know quite how to use it like we do. Rarely do they hear(see) real-life English, just situations in textbooks, or taught by a non-native speaker of English. What may come off as rude to us, might just be what they think is acceptable.

Japanese is also a very descriptive language, and when translating into English it's hard to make substitutions, same as English > Japanese. So just consider that too, what's rude to us, might not be to them.

It reminds me about when you "/check" someone. It's almost always considered rude to check someone without asking, but Japanese players have become more relaxed about it over time. I still don't know why exactly it's rude, but it's probably like in real life, it's not polite to stare. I've made a point to some of my Japanese friends to explain why most English players don't think "/check"ing is rude, because you're not given the option to accept or refuse a check like you would a trade or party invite, it just happens.

Oh, and thanks Pseulen for agreeing with me. ^^
Though my ex-boyfriend is Korean(adopted) he's a bit raciest.

Yeah i've often wondered what's up with people getting upset w/ being checked :?:

To me, it's kinda flattering that someone thought i looked cool enough to check me out :) but i've seen many a player get a /slap for checking someone.

Ive actually run into more NA players who are touchy about random /checks, although I'm less apprehensive about checking them anyway...=p. I haven't gotten any slaps from anyone before, but I get /checks right back, heh. The last time i checked a Japanese person was when he had the full set of BST af armor and I hadnt seen it before (being that you dont see very many ppl as BST). I told him I thought his armor was kool and he just /smiled and thanked me.

And another thing to add about "mean JP players." Last night my low lvl friends were running to Bastok from windurst for the lvl 10 alchemy test and died on the way while I was lvling in East Saruta. There were 2 high lvl WHMs in Konschtat, so I asked one and he responded back with the auto translator saying he didnt speak english and added raise with a question mark. He said he was Japanese so i asked him again in the best Japanese I could and without responding back, I got tells from my friends saying he rezzed them. I thanked him and he was kool about it. Now tell me how many times you run into NA players who are willing to go out of their way without compensation or attitude?

This isn't my opinion on it, it's what I've been told by my JP friends and LS mates.
