If Shield Bash is blunt, then maybe an Adamanshell (ultra-weak to blunt) would take 500 damage from a Souleater Shield Bash? I dunno. o.o

Souleater affects shield/weapon bash? I thought they were JA's unaffected by player buffs.

I had PLD to 50 on a char before and my Shield Bash was doing 40ish dmg to the later beetles in Crawlers Nest. So it does more then 20 dmg. Not saying a Aegis is going to toss out 500 damage but theres a slight chance vs a weak enough mob it could.

I've been shield bashing away for 75 levels and 270k+ in merits and I've never seen it do more than 25 dmg.

I've seen Cythe do it to level 75 many times and hes hit more then 20 countless times.
