People talk about all the massive amounts of gil some people have piled up over the long monthes and years they've put into the game. This affects the economy with massive inflation since there's nothing to spend it on....so why not make some things to spend it on?
I would like to get people's suggestions for things we as players can spend this money on in the game. For example many MMORPG's allow you to own land, buildings, private mounts, ships and even towns in some cases. Seems to me these would make for a whole new game if we actually were able to give our LS's a place to meet, store our gear and hang out at? The server can make these "instanced zones" like they do with our mog houses but allow for people to enter who we have put on a "permission list" (I stole this idea from EQ2...shhhh...don't tell Sony). It's still rough but I would like to hear from people with serious suggestions....If we can get enough people to sign on we may even get someone at SE to pay attention.
P.S. SquareEnix will listen if we come up with something half-decent because they have a vested interest in keeping us as customers. How many of us have gotten a friend or family member to play? Happy players are good for business.
Thank you.
