Just seen this movie and loved it. Way better then Episode II. I even read the book before I seen it and have too say the book explains things a little better but is some ways off from the movie. Not going too spoil things but really worth the money too go see.

Did not want too post this under Asiamise's thread cause it deals with the game so I thought I might better make a new one.

Just got home myself and, you are correct sir. This one sooo much better than episode II. The book is of course better, but then again so are must books that are made into movies. Yes sooo worth to spend the money to go see it.

Episode III actually bumped its way into my top 3 Star Wars films. It now goes:

5 - Empire Strikes Back
4 - A New Hope
3 - Revenge of the Sith
6 - Return of the Jedi
2 - Clone Wars
1 - Phantom Menace

Wow!! I cant wait to see it even more now. Its great to see one of the prequels make it into a top list.

I liked it even though I still don't like the director's style. The plot was pretty good though some things seemed a little, well, rushed... It was so sad though, not like I was expecting a happy ending though...

I thought it was good, a very nice end and good wrap-up, but George Lucas is a crap writer and I'm not awfully enamoured with his directing. He is VERY fond of lots short scenes and completely unecessary fancy transitions. Honestly, some of them could just have been put together, some parts of the film were jumping all over the place.

woot! I'm not alon on my views of George Lucas.. XD

Far from alone. And I have to agree that the short scenes and oddball transitions got to be a distraction, with me wanting to time just how short they were and how few lines were said. But when it comes to George Lucas dialogue, the less of it there is the better. The action and special effects were great, and I like the Anakin/Obi-Wan and Yoda/Siddeous fights, but the rest of it was...lacking. The Jedi deserved better. The audience deserved less Padme scenes. And yeah, we all knew where the story was going to go and how it was going to play out, but something fresh would have been nice. In the end it's the best of the prequels, but that's really not saying much.

I liked Revenge of the Sith well enough (as long as Anakin and Padme weren't actually speaking to each other), but my disappointment with the movie stems from the fact that it's pretty much exactly what we expected. We knew the backstory, and George Lucas gave it to us without any real deviation to thwart expectation.

Still, very pretty effects. Nice lightsaber battles.

Just wish there'd been more meat on the story's bones.

I too felt like the movie was rushed. They could have put at least 25% of the content from this movie into the Episodes I & II, which where filled with dry moments, and dragging scenes.

I'll have to say that Episodes IV-VI will always be my favorite.

Yeah... that scene where Darth Vader screams "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" was kinda low, corny... WTF happened to James Earl Jones?!

Scenes were definitely VERY short... And everything was so obvious, if obvious also means IT WAS ALL ALREADY KNOWN... ><

I lay witness to some very shitty acting, which overshadowed the very good actors. There were sometimes when Yoda just got on my nerves with the passive voice. And I think the Jedi could've been a lot more powerfully depicted than in this movie. They were very weak...

/sigh There goes all the negative. The movie was really good regardless of all the flaws I pointed out (and all the others). I liked it, yet was slightly disappointed. But, still, money well spent and had a great time.

I loved it aswell. I saw it last night!!!

It was good, I enjoyed the mania lightsaber fights.

Ever notice G.L's obsession with hands. Me and my friend figured out, there were more than 10 hand related injuries that were important to the film. IE- Anikin's hand, Dook's hands, Luke's hand many more.

A) that was James Earl Jones

B) Alot of the movie was short, because they underestimated the amount of story they had to tell in Episode 3. They needed to plan out all 3 better.

C) The only "BAD" acting was Hayden Christianson, but he was bad enough for all of them. And yes the Jedi were protrayed as weak, because thier fall was also due to the fact that they had allowed the Sith to survive. They had become complacent. They had to be almost destroyed, so that Luke could revitalize the Jedi Order into somthing stronger (i'm WAY to much of a Star Wars Geek)

I understood this was Siddeous' was of finally breaking Anakin/Vader away from everything in his former life, but having the man in black stoop so low and be such a emo bitch was too much for me to take.

Lucas needs to get Spielberg to shoot Dialog Scenes for him... and a better Dialog writer too.

Lucas should fire himself...

indeed! Lucas shoulda never tried the directing scene...

What i didnt get was,, the Darth Lord Siddeous hes the dude that taught Palpatine the loops around his power and such.

So when Palpatine gave his speach about cheating death and blah blah and how this apprentice killed his master blah blah blah.

I can only imagine Palpatine killed Siddeous after he had learned what his master taught him :?

palpatine IS siddious. As far as this Sith legend goes about the sith having power to cheat death, Im pretty sure he made that up to trap Anakin.
