Man a couple weird and somewhat disappointing things happened to me. First, two parties in a row had a Bard in them 60+. Strange this was, NEITHER of them had Carnage Elegy. Its like the most expensive song as far as I know until 70's. Its only like 140k, and Bard has VERY few expenses compared to others. Strangely enough, one of the Bards was a JP, and had a Vermillion Cloak on lol. Anyways...

This was fun. Party in CN with MY Bard (only 40 so Carnage Elegy isnt an issue yet but picked up Horn +1 and wow..). The leader was Rdm/Drk, so I immediatly started giving shit. I was in a weird mood at this point, so I wasnt being too nice. Before we got to CN, I found out some reason why the person went /Drk. "I dont want to main heal, and when I sub Blm, people ask me to main heal", "Drk helps me do more dmg", "Please let me play how I want". So normally I would have disbanded, but since I was a Bard and the rest of the setup was pretty good, I stayed. Party went very well, though I linked like a fool (was pulling and no radar sucks). I was actually surprised, though I never admitted it, with how the Rdm performed. Person wasnt HORRIBLE I suppose. Still, if you are going to do a non-cookie cutter job, you better at least be perfect at it. Everyone got on my case because I criticized her for interrupting the SC by tacking on Fast Blade at the end before burst landed, and then I went on to ask why person wasnt bursting themself! Best part though was when she threatened to boot me. I would have LOVED to see that.

Well I kinda wanted to apologize to the other people in the party. I think Oropher is the only one who posts here, but just wanted to let you know I was feeling really strangely, kinda wanted to be an asshole lol. Felt good to get it outta my system though.

Yeah I would have, but the party setup was actually really great. I figured I was bored so I would try it out. As long as the Rdm did Refresh, the party was going to be better than average. Red Mage did a bit more so it was all good. Im starting to learn that being a Bard, I do get to make parties better which is nice.

Its one of the few jobs where you can pick your pts, not to be rude but to get the best setup possible together. 5 blms and a bard is fun, try that sometime lol

Im partial to Rangers <3... Bard is just my mess around job really...or when its super late, because Bard is the only job I have played where I still get JP invites. I will probably never make it to 55 on it, but I want to try a Manaburn party so maybe I will.

To add in some more randomness, how many Whm have capped Divine Skill? I am 21 on Whm at the moment, and I have a higher skill than all my other friends who have Whm leveled, and they are in the high 40's-50's I think. Mine is nearly capped at like 64. I dont know why I level it, but I like having it like that. Banish can hit up to 40 baby! I am curious what a fully leveled Divine Magic skill could do with Holy or Banish 3! I know the Whm in the party this thread talked about was popping off Banish 2's for 120 damage on a non-resist (rare though) because so little for her to do. Even MB'd blizzard for like 80 damage lol.

My uncapped divine skill just reached 235 last night, so 250 with af pants (or is it +10?). I was mbing Banish 3 with light staff on a light chain against golems in sky for a consistent 440. You don't really get to skill it much in parties until flash because banish 1 and 2 are horribly mp inefficient. Even Banish 3 at its best as a mb is only a little over 4.3 dmg per mp. The longer you wait though, the easier it is to skill. Mine went from 60 skill to 200+ while lvling from 70-72 in sky with random flashes and mbing banish3/banishga2. Almost every other cast was .3-.5 skill up.

As for the main topic, yeah bards really do get to be picky. The price is you feel extra guilty when you have to leave because you realize that parties exp per hour just cut in half more often than not.

Never really was a main topic Rones . Im just rambling really. Two more funny gems...

So I ended up playing FF all weekend when I should have been doing homework. I have 2 8 minute speeches due today, just got done with one. I had 3 hours to prepare for it, and I hadnt even thought about it. So i finally settled down to do it, and finished in about an hour lol. So i get to class and give my speech, all my friends were like "Damn how long did that take you?!", "An hour"..."I hate you". I suck at school lol. I cant study, and should be working on my next speech due in 2 hours, but ill wait for the last 30 minutes I am sure.

Another thing. Ran into Colbwa last night! My first experience with said person. I was skilling up axe in beadeaux helping someone get Blm Testament, and Colbwa came along. So he forgets his arrows and shows up about 10 mins after the rest of us. He doesnt know the way, and we are all busy so basically ignored him. He ended up dying lol, and was pissed cause nobody would raise him. I started pissing him off, because I have heard how much of a fool he was...started calling him "Chuckles" cause he made me laugh with his antics. So I was waiting for him to get pissed and try to MPK us all, but sadly I had to go to Ballista before he ever even reached the party. I wasnt even doing much really, but I guess I hurt his feelings... "Why you acting like this Fae?"..."Acting like what?"..."What is your problem with me" or some shit like that..."You need to be self sufficient by this point" (he expected us to come and sneak/invis him)...."Whats the REAL reason"...."I dont even know you man." Im so mean lately... :twisted:

LOL was a good time. Just more stuff until im done. Man after today its going to be smooth sailing in school.
